I have these two tattoos. One on my wrist and one on the back of my neck, both of them are symbols that I don't what stands for. People say I'm insane for having these but I was basically born with them,

People say I'm even more insane when I enter a shadow follows behind no matter what, night or day it's behind me. Whenever I turn it's not there.

What does this mean?
