Kyuhyun woke up in his bed in his shared room with his best friend Sungmin. Sungmin had already gotten up and left the bedroom. There was a little bit of noise coming from the living room and kitchen.

Kyuhyun got out of bed and walked out "Aigoo, what time is it?" he said. "Oh it's only 11:30." Heechul said. Kyuhyun shot Heechul an evil glare. "Well whats going on?" he said with a yawn. "Leeteuk and Kangin are making you a big birthday breakfast!" the aegyo master Sungmin squeaked from the couch. "Oh...well that's nice of them" the maknae said walking over to the couch and sitting by Sungmin.

"Kyumin-ah! Happy birthday!" Eunhyuk and Donghae said as they ran over to him. "Thank you" Kyuhyun said, yawning again.

The group sat at the table and enjoyed the big breakfast made by Leeteuk and Kangin. They talked as usual, but Sungmin was acting a little funny. He looked kind of embarrassed or uncomfortable... "Sungmin hyung? Are you alright?" Kyuhyun asked from his seat beside him. "Y-yeah Kyuhyun I'm fine." He replied.

For the rest of the day the group hung out around the dorm together and when it got dark, Leeteuk started making dinner. Kyuhyun and Sungmin were on the balcony with Yesung and Siwon. Siwon left to go help with dinner, and Yesung said he had to go feed his turtles.

Sungmin silently stood there next to Kyuhyun, feeling very nervous. "Sungmin-ah are you okay?" Kyuhyun asked, slightly concerned. "Uh...yeah Kyu I'm fine..." He replied shakily. "Are you cold hyung?" "No" "Alright..." 

Kyuhyun walked over to some chairs. "Here hyung, sit down here next to me." he said quietly. "O-okay..."

Sungmin walked over to the chair next to Kyuhyun and sat down. He still couldn't calm down. 

A few fireworks went off and their heads snapped to see what was going on. Some people were setting off fireworks somewhere near the dorm. Kyuhyun laughed. "Sungmin, let's go over to the railing and stand there and watch." "Okay maknae" Sungmin said quietly.

They walked over to the railing and Kyuhuyn leaned on it. "LOOK SUNGMIN!!!! A pink one!" he said. Sungmin scooted a little closer to him and their shoulders were practically touching. "Sungmin-ah, are you sure you aren't cold?" "Yes maknae." he replied. After a few minutes of chatting and watching the fireworks, Sungmin said, "Kyu...can I tell you something?" "You can tell me anything, you're my best friend." Kyuhyun said with a smile. "A-alright...uh...well..." "Spit it out Sungmin" Kyuhyun said. "Well first of all I want to thank you for being a great friend and always being there for me...And hanging out with me...And second of all I want to wish you a happy birthday and I hope it will be the best birthday by the end of the day. And 3rd and last..." Sungmin went up on his tip toes and placed a sweet kiss on Kyuhyun's lips. "S-Sungmin...wh-" "I know you probably hate me now..." "Sungmin-ah...no..." Kyuhyun whined. "Kyu I'm sorry" "LEE SUNGMIN I LO-" "I'm gonna go inside now Kyuhyun..." Kyuhyun grabbed Sungmin by the arm and pulled him in to a tight hug. "Sungmin hyung...saranghae..." Sungmin's cheek was rested on Kyuhyun's chest. "N-nado saranghaeyo...K-Kyuhyun..." He choked out. Kyuhyun lifted Sungmin's chin and passionately kissed him.Sungmin stood there on his tip-toes and enjoyed the moment. Kyuhyun pulled back and whispered in Sungmin's ear "Come on, let's go have dinner." The duo walked inside trying to look as casual as possible.

After dinner, everyone stayed up until about 12. 

"Kyuhyun-ah..?" Sungmin said quietly from his bed

"Yes?"

"C-can...can I..."

"Can you what?"

"Can I sleep in your bed tonight?"

"...Yes of course"

Kyuhyun scooted over and made room for Sungmin

Sungmin crawled in the bed with Kyuhyun and snuggled up close to him.

"...Sungmin?"

"Yes?"

"Will...will you be my boyfriend?"

".....of course I will Kyuhyun-ah." he kissed Kyuhyun and said "Goodnight Kyubear, I love you"

"I love you too Sungmin-ah"
