We’re looking at each other through different worlds,

through our telescopes,

and kaleidoscopes,

Does my world still look pretty to you? Do I still look colorful?

All four seasons have passed twice,

Even though the surroundings are different,

the things that brought us close

the things that make us smile

the feelings of each others hands

are all still the same.

I’m looking at you from my world.

Your world looks so far away,

I can’t see the stars from here.

All I see is the empty fog from my own breath,

the almost translucent fog dances alone in the dark

before dissolving into the dark starless sky.

I see you smiling down at me in your colorful world.

I want to grab you,

but even if I stretch,

you are out of reach.

One day when our worlds meet;

Will you still look at me?

Or will you get bored

of watching the sand fall in the glass?

Will our feelings be forever inter-changable?

In our past life, did our hearts beat together?

In our next life, will our feet walk side by side?

Will I be anything to you?

Or will we be just like our breaths?

And dissolve into the dark starless sky.
