Foreword

He had always been different. Living his life as a child in the busy town called Beijing, Luhan had been the son of the headmaster of a very well known school, the Beijing Jingshan School. But being the headmaster's son doesn't help Luhan, who was naturally good in academics, but poorly at games except for football and was a very shy person. He'd blush and stutters at even the little things. The boys scoffed at him, the girls ignored him. Gradually Luhan had developed a defensive stutter and a taste for being on his own.

Then, at around the age of thirteen, things have changed a little too much for Luhan's liking. His bony structure soon turned into a little muscular one, as he is an active player in football. He had his hair cut and dyed it into platinum blonde, his face no longer hidden behind his old long brown hair. Suddenly girls were following him aroung, giggling and propostiotioning him; suddenly all the boys were gazing at him in envy. It was assumed, because he was so good-lloking, every girl would say "yes" if he'd ever ask them out. And if he did, on Monday, she'd be giggling hysterically with her friends, flutters her eyelashes and drop hints. His reputation grew and grew, but at the end of the day he was still a . He'd go out with a girl, yes, but he'd cut things short with just a goodnight kiss. No touching, no rough kissing, nothing.

By the time he was eighteen, he had taken out almost every girl in his school and still, his remain untouched. He had furthered his studies in a well known university thinking maybe then he'd finally have a girl who can deflower him, although it was embarassing to even say this in his heart. He had the looks and the brains, and the girls there was absolutely pretty, their white mlky skin glowing under the sun and their body curves into a very beautiful way. But somehow, they didn't gain his attention. It was the men who did. The men. Luhan would caught himself staring surreptiously at them in lectures, watched them in the streets, edged closer to them in pubs.

But whenever he does, he'd backed away in full of terror. He couldn't be attracted to men. He couldn't be gay. He simply couldn't. But then his first year had finished, and as time gradually passed, his second year ended as well and during his third year Luhan finds himself still a and was drinking whiskey alone in his room.

And then came the excitement. Where everything changed. Luhan had been sent for an extra tutorial to Oh Sehun, a junior exchange student from Korea. On the first day they met, Sehun had given Luhan a cold glare and Luhan sweared to God he'd teach that brat a little lesson but as soon as they started the lesson, Luhan discovered that Sehun was actually a warm, kind-hearted guy. On several days, he'd be playing around and laughing but most of the times, Sehun would take things seriously.

As weeks passed, the tutorial had become more and more intense as the afternoon wore off. At the end of the tutorial, Luhan found himself flushed in the face, utterly caught up in the debate and the charged atmosphere between them.Sehun was leaning forward in his chair, close to Luhan; their faces almost touching.

Then, silently, Sehun had leaned a little further and and brushed his lips against Luhan's. Excitement began to sears Luhan's body. He'd closed his eyes and willed Sehun to kiss him again, to come closer. And slowly, gently, Sehun had put his arms around Luhan and pulled him down his armchair, onto the rug, into a new life.
