Chapter Three Him    

 

I sat in my room waiting for Tiffany to get out of the bathroom. She's going out on another date with Donghae again, oh the love birds.  The event that occurred earlier today took me by surprise, I didn't expect Yunho to come and talk to me. It was brief before Eunhyuk came to fetch him.

So ummm, you want a recap of what happened earlier? Well what happen was he said " because it gives me a reason to talk to you." Then I look away blushing and when I had the gut to turn to look at him, he open his mouth first again, "next time when I give you anything at all, don't give it to anyone. I will come to get it myself." Then I ask why to which he answered with a small smile, "same reason."   Then soon after Eunhyuk came to fetch him. When they were out of the library all you could hear from Eunhyuk was "what the hell are you doing in the library bro! Kim Jong Kook is going to bust your nuts for this". After they left the library Vivian Hsu an exchange student came to ask me a few question about him, another fan. She seem very eager to find out more so I directed her to Lin.   "Who are you going for dinner with tonight, Vic?" Tiffany said, stepping out of the bathroom in a robe and head towel, also breaking my thoughts.   " Zhou Mi." I said before closing the bathroom door.   I shower quickly and got dress, nothing fancy, just the norm. Oversize shirt and skinny leg jeans. I whip some mascara on my lashes, put lip balm on and got out. Tiffany sat in bed waiting for me to take her to the Donghae's place.   "So Zhou Mi? How long has he been after you again? Two years, no?" She ask as we left the room.   "He's not after me! We're just friends, Tiff. He have a girlfriend!" I said, looking back at her as we walk down the stairs.   "Well it's quite obvious he likes you though!" Tiffany utter.   "Woman one more word about Zhou Mi and I'm going to make you walk to Donghae's place!"   She nod in amusement with a smirk on her face as she opens the door to the passenger seat. But knowing my best friend, she won't stop her fun here.   "It's just very obvious you know!"  She said, pampering her lip with gloss as she looks in the mirror on the sun visor.  She then look at me and continue talking, "no guy would buy you morning coffee every day and save you a seat when you're late to class if he doesn't like you."   "Shut up!" I told her.   She laugh then said, "it's cute if you ask me."         See, what did I tell you, my best friend ladies and gents, my best friend!   Zhou Mi is in a few of my classes, he's nice and friendly but definitely not my cup of tea. I can only see him as a friend. We socialize but most of the time it's college related stuff. We would go out for casual dinner, nothing fancy and certainly not a date. He's dating his high school sweetheart who so happens to chose to be on theater than in college, a musical performer, not famous but very good.   I park the car right in of Donghae's house, Tiffany checks her phone and said that Donghae will be home from practice soon. The good looking coach make them train Monday, Wednesday and Friday both in the morning and in the afternoon. Crazy yeah? That's Kim Jong Kook for yah!   Just then Yunho's Jeep, Donghae's Mercedes and G.O's Toyota Hilux pulls into the driveway. All eleven players came out of the cars, they're probably dropping by to hang out because most certainly not all of them live here. Only Yunho, Changmin, Donghae and Eunhyuk lives here, it's a four bedroom house after all. Some of the other team member are renting a house a couple of streets down but the hang outs is at this one because the house is a lot bigger compared to the rest.     Tiffany turn to me before leaving the car and tease, "do tell me if he have the guts to kiss you this time ok!"   I grab the scrunched up paper and throw it at her. She catches it, winks and laugh at me before going off into Donghae's embrace. Before I turn on the engine G.O tap on the window sill, "Victoria why don't you come in, I think Yuri and them are coming over later."   "Oh sorry G.O I have plans already," I told him.   "I'm sure you can drop it right? We're having a movie night on the new projector Taecyeon bought, there's chicken and beer. It's going to be a quiet one tonight."   "It sounds great but--" I said half way when I got cut by Tiff whose voice roar in the background.   "She got a date tonight!"   Nice! Just nice Tiff! Yunho who was happily chatting with Minho is now looking over at me. The boys were making 'woohoo-ing' sounds loudly and I just look at Tiffany flashing my middle finger and mouthing 'thank you' to her sarcastically. She also mouth back 'you're welcome.'   I turn back to G.O and say, "I'll take a rain check, sorry G.O."     I was deep in conversation with Zhou Mi when my double beef and bacon burger came out. We were talking about the pet shelter in town and how they need people volunteer as they are short on staffs.   "I'll go with you, when is it?" I ask him.   "Oh any day of the week really, just go there and tell them you heard it from me." He said taking a bite into his burger.   "So you don't really need to be there?" I ask him again to make sure. He nods and took another bite.   I tend to volunteer to a lot of organization and donate whenever I can, in fact I was doing volunteer work most of my summer break. It's one of my passion.   We chat some more, eating away before Lizzy, one of the member of cheerleading sitting across from me call out, "Yunho oppa!"     I look up and saw him and Taecyeon at the counter. He smiles at and walk up to her. I couldn't help but eavesdrop on their conversation.   "What are you doing here?" she said.   "We ordered food to go, just picking it up." He reply.   "Oh, what's going on tonight?"   "Nana didn't tell you? Movie marathon tonight." He said.   "Can we join you?" E-Young said sweetly.   I look over to the table, Yunho simply nod. Of course I didn't see his face but guess he's happy. Those junior are quiet attractive.   "Yunho, chickens out. Let's go!" Taecyeon shouts from the counter.   Yunho turns around and our eyes meet. He walks up to my table with Lizzy and E-Young clinging on both arm.   "Victoria," He greets me with a slight nod and then offer Zhou Mi a hand shake and said, "Zhou Mi how are you doing man!"   "Not bad man, yourself?" Zhou Mi said.   "Yeah, things are great." He said with a wide smile, then look at me but still talking to Zhou Mi. "You two on a date huh?"   I look awa
