A couple of years have passed by & the 5 girls has raised Sera & Sooyoung properly, turning them into pretty, well-mannered girls & ready to release them from their ‘kids’ cages, entrusting them with more responsibilities as the two has grown into teenagers.

This year, Sera turned 13 while Sooyoung, a year younger.

 

“Seraaa~” IU called Sera, the bit introvert girl from downstairs

“Yes, Jieun-unnie?” Sera quickly replied the latter & approached her downstairs

“Tomorrow’s gonna be you & Sooyoung’s first day in high school. Do you want some tips or is there something in your mind?” IU then sat on the dorm’s couch, patting the empty side of the couch beside her

 

Sera cutely dropped her body to the couch, leaning her back on IU’s shoulder, IU put her arms around Sera’s shoulder caressing the little girl’s silky hair

Sera pouts for a while & seemed to be thinking of something..

 

 

“Unnie, is there any difference in high school? Is it better than elementary school? Is it scary?” Sera looked at IU with a cute pout & big, glimmering eyes

“First, there’s a lot. You’ll meet new friends of course, you’ll be taking various subjects, joining more extracurriculars & activities, & it’s a whole bigger world with many chances. Second, yes it’s better for some reason. Third, it’s not. Don’t worry, what are you afraid of? The unnies aren’t sending you to ghost school baby” IU slightly put her lips in Sera’s hair, spoiling the little girl

“But.. I read in the internet, about bullies….” Sera looked sad a bit

 

“Naaah don’t worry about that unnie!” a voice suddenly interrupted their conversation, then footsteps are approaching

 

“You just woke up, champ?” IU treats this other girl differently. That other girl is harder to handle, stubborn, & can be too naïve sometimes

 

“Yup. And why are you not going to campus unnie?” Sooyoung asked, joining them by sitting on the floor, below them

“I have late classes for today”

“Wow I sure don’t understand college” Sooyoung scratched her hair

 

“Oh yeah, Sera-unnie, about those bullies.. Don’t worry. If you ever come across one tomorrow, well, I never let my eyes off of you” Sooyoung raised her knuckle up, swearing to protect her sister

“Sooyoung, stop acting so tough. You don’t need to end things with a fight, it’ll only make it worse” Sera reminded her younger sister wisely

“Aww c’mon unnie, stop acting like you’re 18” Sooyoung whined childishly

 

“You two are so funny to look at. Both of you are like the complete opposite of each other” IU giggled at the girls

 

“Is it, like a magnet unnie?” Sera relates to scientific stuffs. Well, besides being an introvert, she’s also a bit of a bookworm & loves studying a lot, so yeah she’s smart

“Magnet? Those funny stuff that pulls & stick to each other? I love playing those things it’s funny!” Sooyoung, as always, being a really bold girl

“Well.. Literally………” IU think, looking at both girls in turns

 

 

“No… YES!” IU’s sudden loud voice startled both girls

 

 

“You two have to be like magnets. Two sisters that acts like a pair of magnets. They pull each other & stick to one another, without pulling away, unless someone pulled them away! Magnets can only pull & stick to the other complete opposite magnet” IU became proud of her own idea

“The two of you will protect each other & love each other, just like us unnies, the world calls it sisterhood” IU told them with a wide smile

“And we never leave each other’s backs” IU added, proudly shown them that she have reliable peoples in her life

 

“Sounds good to me! I’m perfectly good with that” Sooyoung cheered enthusiastically with her hands up in the air

 

While on the other side, Sera fell silent & awkward..

 

“Sera baby? What’s wrong?” IU peeked at Sera’s face, & Sera’s been blushing

“Sera why are you blushing?” IU was taken aback by Sera’s reaction

“Isn’t it embarrassing to talk about love?…” Sera shyly asked, blinking adorably

“Baby, love isn’t just abpout a boy-girl relationship. A great friendship & sisterhood requires love, even family! But in my opinion though, I think relationship isn’t just about a boy & a girl. If you think everyone is equal, dating someone your own gender is fine, yes I agree with that. You’ll understand though” IU is again lost in her own words

 

Sera thought about it for a bit

 

“Umm… Okay! Because I’m her unnie, that means I have to really care for her & love her as much right?” Sera giggled, as  always, adorably…

“That’s right! Now you two go have some breakfast, cuddling time’s up. I need to take a shower” IU patted Sera’s head & kissed Sooyoung’s forehead, heading to the bathroom leaving the two sisters in the living room

 

 

“So… Foods unnie?” Sooyoung grinned widely, when it comes to ‘foods’

“Yeah, I’m hungry” Sera lead her younger sister to the kitchen

 

 

 

After spending the day playing & taking advices from the unnies, they prepared themselves as they will start a new fresh day, new year, & a new grade at school tomorrow. You know why both & not just Sera? Because the unnies sent Sooyoung to playgroup early, even younger than Sera by a year, so that the two sisters can end up in the same grade.
