At the dawn of the millennium, South Korea is in a state of near-collapse. Unemployment is at an all-time high, with ten million out of work. Eight hundred thousand students are boycotting classes and physically abusing their teachers. The adults have lost confidence, and in fear of the youth, introduced the Millennium Educational Reform Act- also known as The BR Act.

AUTHOR NOTE: lately i've bene engrossed in japanese horror movies and such; and i happened to stumble upon 'battle royale' and it kind of just hit me in the kokoro idk and then ~*this~*~ happened yehet. since i've seen one or two seventeen fanfics based around the theme of 'death', i thought well why not join the bandwagon. yehet. this is my first time trying a different genre (and a dark one at that) so hopefully it turns out well huhu. feel free to holla at me if i happen to kill your bias otl. #not sorry. jkjk pls spare me. the first chapter will have the names of the students (that is, seventeen as well as a shedload of oc's)~ cx
