Smile could be seen on Sungmin’s eyes. His eyes closed while leaning his body on his lover’s back. They were sitting on Sungmin’s bed and the said man is enjoying his lover wonderful voice. Kyuhyun is a very good singer and Sungmin just know about it recently after they began dating few months ago. He also so good at writing and composing songs.

A few papers scattered above his tables were Kyuhyun’s composed songs were lied. Three days ago, finally Kyuhyun could buy the guitar he had been dreaming of with his own pocket money and it makes Sungmin happy too because Kyuhyun always play his guitar while singing his composed song, just like what he is doing right now.

Sungmin lean his body further on Kyuhyun’s back, his arms encircle on Kyuhyun’s waist tightly. He always like this position. Even though Kyuhyun was singing while playing his guitar but Sungmin could still feel his lover’s warmth.

“Why did you stop?” he asked when Kyuhyun stop singing. He detached himself from Kyuhyun’s back and look at his lover’s eyes lovingly. He grasp Kyuhyun’s hand when he see a tint of sadness on his lover’s eyes. “You know that you can always tell me what’s wrong, right?”

Knowing that he couldn’t hide it from Sungmin, Kyuhyun place his guitar aside and pull his lover closer to his body. Embrace him tightly like there’s no tomorrow. “I always wish that everyone could hear my songs, baby”

“And why couldn’t they?”

Kyuhyun let out a really long sigh. He kiss on top of Sungmin’s head and snuggling on his hair, “You know my parents, right? They won’t like it if I become a singer, saying that it was just a waste of time. Especially my father, he won’t like it. He won’t even for a bit”

Sungmin let go from Kyuhyun’s embrace and hold each side of Kyuhyun’s face, looking straight at his eyes, “Have you ask them about it? Maybe it was just your own thought that your parents wouldn’t let you to sing”

“I already ask them, baby and as I predicted, my parents didn’t let me to do it” Kyuhyun close his eyes then open it slowly, bright smile was plastered on his handsome face as he caress Sungmin’s cheek lovingly, “But you know, when you enter my world, the time you say yes to my confession. The first time I see your sincere face when you hear me singing. I finally know that I found someone precious to me, someone that I love more than my love for music, someone that I need to protect with my own life. My life and my world, Lee Sungmin” he kiss Sungmin’s lips after he ended his words.

“Cheesy” Sungmin said while he hit Kyuhyun’s shoulder lightly but Kyuhyun could see a bright smile that crept up on Sungmin’s face.

“Am I?”

“Yes. I could die because of your cheesy words, Cho Kyuhyun!”

Kyuhyun laugh hard, he embrace Sungmin’s body tightly before he let the gravity to pull the both of them into lying position, “The let me shower you with my cheesiness, Sungmin-ah!”

“Yah!! You want me to die so soon!!”

Kyuhyun only laugh at Sungmin’s words.

Nothing could describe what Sungmin felt right now. He look at the sleeping figure beside him. Cho Kyuhyun was sleeping peacefully on his bed, his arms was lying on Sungmin’s waist as he sleep. It was Sunday morning and Kyuhyun always sleep on his place every Saturday. Saying that he want to spend the night together with Sungmin, accompany him and holding him tight on Kyuhyun’s arms so he didn’t feel cold or lonely.

He trace his finger on Kyuhyun’s face softly, hoping that his action didn’t wake him up from his sleep. He smile brightly when he see his boyfriend serene look. He have to thank God for sending someone as wonderful as Kyuhyun into his life. He never imagine that his dream would really happened in his life. He is really happy to have someone who love him for he is.

Someone who always be there for him.

Loving him and protecting him.

His world and his life.

Cho Kyuhyun.

Sungmin lie his head near Kyuhyun’s heart and close his eyes, listening to the soft thumping of Kyuhyun’s heartbeat. He smile wider as he snuggled deeper into Kyuhyun’s chest. He really love this feeling. The warm tingling that always there when he was with Kyuhyun.

The love.

He really love this person.

Very much.

Sungmin shift his gaze to look at Kyuhyun’s face. Slowly but surely he lean closer until there was no distance between his and Kyuhyun’s lips. He close his eyes as soon as his lips meet Kyuhyun’s. He always like it whenever Kyuhyun kiss him. Kyuhyun’s lips is so soft and it gave him a wonderful feeling. He was about to break the kiss when he feel a hand push his neck, deepening the kiss. His eyes shoot open but then closed slowly when he feel Kyuhyun’s gentle kiss.

“Such a wonderful way to wake me up from my sleep, Min” Kyuhyun said with their lips still pressed to each other. He then peck Sungmin once again before he pull Sungmin body into his own, “I wouldn’t mind to wake up with that way every morning. I’m sure I’ll be the happiest man in this world” Sungmin just chuckled lightly and buried his body deeper on Kyuhyun’s embrace.

Comfortable silence filling the room. The two figures enjoying their self holding each other on the bed. Kyuhyun’s eyes the room before his gaze shifted to the person beside him. He let go of Sungmin’s body and lifting up Sungmin’s chin to look at him on the eyes. “Min…” he started.

“Eung?”

“We’ve been together for a month” Sungmin nodded his head while enjoying Kyuhyun’s hand that his cheek lovingly, “Don’t you think it’s time for us to tell them about our relationship?”

“You mean?”

“Min, I want you to meet my family?” the question like sentence success to make Sungmin’s eyes widen a few centimeter that morning.

Sungmin didn’t know what he feel right now. There was a mix feeling between scared, happy and nervous. Even though they already know each other for more than half a year but he had never met Kyuhyun’s parents even for once. What would Kyuhyun’s parents think about him? Will they like him or hate him like everyone else? Or will they accept their relationship and let Kyuhyun to be with Sungmin forever?

“Min?”

“Will they like me?” Sungmin asked with quiet voice, “Will they like me, Kyunie?” now, he stare right into Kyuhyun’s eyes when he said that, letting Kyuhyun to see the emotion that played through his eyes, “What if they hate me like everyone else? What if they force us to be apart? I don’t know what to do without you, Kyu…” called him an egoist for only thinking about himself in this situation. But, that’s the reality. Sungmin couldn’t imagine his life without Kyuhyun in it. Kyuhyun is like the light in his dark life. Lighting his every step through the darkness to reach the happiness in front of him but… if Kyuhyun leave him, he would fall deeply into the darkness and couldn’t reach that tiny happiness in front of him.

“Shhh… don’t cry…” Kyuhyun wipe the tears that fall from Sungmin’s eyes. It hurt him because he know what Sungmin had gone through in his life. Kyuhyun know that having someone to love him is Sungmin’s biggest dream in his life and Kyuhyun intend to keep that dream. He intend to keep loving Sungmin, with or without his parent’s permission. “We will go through this together, Min… whatever my parents will say later, no one would separate us… not again”

Sungmin walking slowly beside Kyuhyun. His hand was being hold tightly by the said person, as if telling him that Kyuhyun will always be there for him and hold his hand whatever his parent’s answer would be. Truthfully, Sungmin is very nervous. He is very nervous that he just want to let go of Kyuhyun’s hand and run away. As much as Kyuhyun want him to meet his parents but Sungmin couldn’t throw the feeling that it wouldn’t go well. That Kyuhyun’s parents will hate him like everyone else.

Sungmin could feel that Kyuhyun tighten his hold when they reach the Cho’s residence. It wasn’t hard to tell that they are a wealthy family. Sungmin could see from the mansion-like house to know that his lover was born from the upper-class family and it was success to make Sungmin feel inferior. The sudden feeling of inferiority manages to make him thinking about his relationship with Kyuhyun. Their gap make him think that he is not worthy to be Kyuhyun’s lover and it frightened him, because on the other hand he know that he couldn’t live without Kyuhyun.

“Welcome home, young master Kyuhyun” said one of the servant while bowing his head.

“Is mother and father home?” Kyuhyun said. He never let go of Sungmin’s hand even for once. He look at the boy beside him and tighten his hold when he see the nervous look on Sungmin’s face. “We’ll be okay” he whispered when the servant leave them to his parents that he was home.

Sungmin look at Kyuhyun’s eyes before he nodded his head slowly. He shift closer to Kyuhyun’s body, their shoulder touching on each other. Kyuhyun’s presence is the only thing that could calm Sungmin’s mind right now. He know that the inner battle will not helping in this situation and he need to calm his mind before he meet Kyuhyun’s parents. It wasn’t just his future that we are talking about… it was his and Kyuhyun’s future.

Their future.

He know that Kyuhyun is as nervous as him and maybe scared to know how his parent’s reaction about their relationship. And if Kyuhyun could keep calm in front of him and even try to calm him, he should try to calm Kyuhyun too, right?

After a few minutes, the servant comes back again. He bowed his body before he start to talk, “They are waiting for you in the living room, young master”

‘This is it. It’s now or never’ Kyuhyun think with eyes closed to calm his mind. He grasp Sungmin’s hand and hold it close to his body, ‘I don’t care what they say about this. This is my live and I choose Sungmin to be with me. You can do it, Cho Kyuhyun’ he take a long breath before he open his eyes and following the servant to meet his parents with Sungmin walking beside him.

“Mother, Father” Kyuhyun greeted his parents who was sitting on the couch. His father was reading today’s newspaper while his mother was reading a fashion magazine.

“You can leave us alone” said Kyuhyun’s father to the servant. The servant bow his body before he leave the room. After he sure that the servant is leaving them alone, Kyuhyun’s father shifted his gaze to his only son and to the boy beside him before his gaze focused on the hand that was holding tightly onto each other, “Who is he, Kyuhyun?”

Kyuhyun’s mother, who was calmly reading the magazine, looking at them with a probing gaze. She look at Sungmin from head to toe before she focused on her son’s face, “What is he doing here?”

“Mother, Father” Kyuhyun started calmly but from the hold on his hands, Sungmin know that Kyuhyun is as scared as him. He grip Kyuhyun’s hand tighter as if to give him some invisible power for Kyuhyun to continue this, “I want to tell you something” Kyuhyun continued.

“What is it?”

“I want to introduce you to someone. Mother, Father… this is Sungmin… he is my boyfriend”

The sound of newspaper being thrown make Sungmin flinch on his feet. Even though that he already expected something like this would happened but there was a little hope in him that Kyuhyun’s parents would accept him and their relationship.

“He’s a boy, Kyuhyun! Are you crazy?!” Kyuhyun’s father shouted. He look at Kyuhyun in the eyes. Even though there was some distance between them but Kyuhyun could feel the cold aura around him. His father fierce look scared him to death. A part of him want to run away and never look back but the logic him telling that he have to face this.

For him and Sungmin’s sake.

“Yes, he is a boy and I’m not crazy, Father. I love him and he love me back. I didn’t see something wrong about that”

“Cho Kyuhyun!” his mother stand up from her seat and approach them. She grab Kyuhyun’ shoulder and look at him in the eyes, “You are the only son of Cho’s family. You have the responsibility to continue this family and here you are telling us that you are having a relationship with this low-life. You must be dreaming, my boy” she caress Kyuhyun’s cheek with her right hand, “Woke up, son”

“He is not a low-life, Mother. He is Sungmin and he is my boyfriend” Kyuhyun said calmly while looking at his mother’s eyes.

“Cho Kyuhyun!” she gritted her teeth before she shifted her gaze to Sungmin who look down at his feet, “You!” she pointed at him, her eyes full of rage, “You must be taking advantage of my son. Such a low-life like you didn’t have the right to have a relationship with someone like my son. You just want his money, right?!” she snapped.

“Mother!”

“Hara!” Kyuhyun’s father voice stop her from her ranting. She shifted her gaze to her husband who was approaching them slowly. He walk closer and stop in front of Kyuhyun and Sungmin. He look at Sungmin from head to toe before he look at his son, “Pack your things. You’ll go to China tomorrow morning” he said before he walk away from them.

“I love him!” Kyuhyun shouted and it makes his father to stop walking, “I will never leave him! Not in my entire life!”

“Are you protesting my decision?” his father said dangerously. There was anger on his eyes. Pure anger. “You argue with me just because this boy who you called as a boyfriend? You are a disgrace of this family, Cho Kyuhyun. Leave him!”

“I won’t, Father” Kyuhyun said sternly. He grip Sungmin’s hand tighter and look at his father on the eyes, “I just come here to tell you this, Mother, Father and I won’t leave Sungmin. I love him and I already choose to stay with him… with or without your permission”

SLAP

Kyuhyun touch his now red cheek. It hurts but it doesn’t make him to take back his decision. He let his free hand to fall on his side before he look at his father who was standing in front of him, “You can slap me but it wouldn’t change my decision, Father”

“Get out!” Kyuhyun father’s shouted while pointing at the exit door, “You are not my son anymore! Get out of my house!”

Sungmin look at Kyuhyun’s father in shock then at Kyuhyun who only bowed his body deeply before he pull Sungmin’s hand and walk out of the house. He look back from his shoulder as they walk out of the house. Kyuhyun’s mother was crying badly and Kyuhyun’s father just stood there, watching their back’s with rage on his eyes. Sungmin shifted his gaze to look at Kyuhyun’s face, his bangs covering his eyes and Sungmin couldn’t see Kyuhyun’s eyes because of it but Sungmin know that Kyuhyun is sad because of this.

Sungmin stop walking when they was a few meters away from the Cho’s residence. He pull Kyuhyun’s hand to stop him. Sungmin walk slowly and hug Kyuhyun from the back. Kyuhyun’s back is so board and it always call him to hug Kyuhyun, to lie his head on Kyuhyun’s shoulder and enjoying his warmth. He close his eyes and inhaling Kyuhyun’s sweet scent that he love so much. “Kyunie” he whispered, “Thank you for always be there for me” he hug him tighter and snuggled closer, “Thank you for loving me and make me the happiest man in this world. Even though that I always dreaming to be loved by someone but Kyunie, I think that I’m not worth it… I’m not worth your love. I––“

“Min…” Kyuhyun whispered while gripping Sungmin’s hand tightly, “Don’t… don’t even think of something like that. Don’t do whatever on your mind right now” he turn his body so he was facing Sungmin now. He lift up Sungmin chin to look at Sungmin’s teary eyes, “Don’t ever think that you are not worth of my love because you do”

“But, Kyu…” tears start to fall from Sungmin’s eyes, “Your family… you have the family that I never had in my entire life and I couldn’t see your family to break apart like this… not when I was the one who cause it. I feel that I take you away from your family”

“Hey” Kyuhyun wipe Sungmin’s tears and look at him in the eye, “Even though I have a family but I never feel that I have one. My parents always busy with their works and leave me alone. It’s not your fault that my family is breaking apart like this, Min… it’s my decision” he both of Sungmin’s cheeks lovingly, “They never care about me. They never love me like you do. My mother never cooks for me like you do. My father never take care of me like you do” Kyuhyun crouch down and kiss Sungmin on the lips, ignoring the look from the passerby, “Instead of taking away my family… you give me one, Min. You give me the family that I always long for. You are my family, Lee Sungmin”

It was still early in the morning but Sungmin is already busy preparing a lunch box for him and Kyuhyun in the kitchen. He look at the only clock on the room. It still 6 in the morning, still a little bit early to wake Kyuhyun up from his sleep. Sungmin stop his movement to look at the sleeping boy on his bed. After the accident on Kyuhyun parent’s house yesterday, they decided that Kyuhyun will stay with him. A part of him was really happy because Kyuhyun was there to accompany him everyday instead of just on Saturday night but another part of him feeling guilty because he is the one who make Kyuhyun like this… to be disowned by his own parents. Even though Sungmin didn’t know how it feels like to be with a family but… for someone like Kyuhyun… someone who has an intact family, to be casted away by his own parents, he would feel really loss and sad.

Sungmin knows that.

Even though Kyuhyun didn’t tell him the truth about his feeling but Sungmin know from Kyuhyun’s eyes that he is hurting. Even though Kyuhyun tell him that it was his own decision to choose Sungmin instead of his own family but Sungmin couldn’t help but feel guilty. Because he knows… that Kyuhyun wouldn’t made such decision if Sungmin didn’t appear on his life like this.

Knowing that his thought wander off somewhere, Sungmin quickly shakes his head. He slap both of his cheeks softly before he continue preparing the lunch box. He couldn’t think of something like that. It was Kyuhyun’s decision and he knows that even though he beg to Kyuhyun to leave him and go back to his family, Kyuhyun wouldn’t do that. The only thing he could do right now is to be there when Kyuhyun need him… to love him and to take care of him.

It was the best thing he could do right now.

It was 7 in the morning when Sungmin finish wrapping their lunch box. He take a quick bath and go to his bed to wake the sleeping prince.

“Kyu~” Sungmin said while caressing Kyuhyun’s cheek lovingly, “It’s time for us to go to school. We’ll be late if you didn’t wake up right now” Sungmin could see Kyuhyun eyes’ movement behind his eyelids. He continue to caressing his cheek and slowly, Kyuhyun’s eyes opened. “It’s time for us to go to school, baby” he whispered.

Kyuhyun smile softly when he see Sungmin’s face that morning, he reach out his hand to Sungmin’s hair lovingly, “Where is  my morning kiss, Min?” he couldn’t help but chuckled when he see his lover pouting lips. “I got it, honey” he get up from his sleeping position on peck Sungmin’g lips before he go to the bathroom.

Sungmin frowned when he see Kyuhyun come out from the bathroom. He approach him and stand in from of him, looking at him from head to toe. Kyuhyun’s clothes is different with his own, he was wearing his casual clothes instead of their school uniform. “Why didn’t you wear your uniform, Kyu?” Sungmin asked while looking at Kyuhyun in the eyes, hoping to find some hidden emotions behind Kyuhyun smile that morning.

Ignoring his lover questioning look, Kyuhyun continue to smile. He walk closer to Sungmin and hold the both of Sungmin’s shoulder, “Min…” he said softly, “I decide to quit school”

Kyuhyun’s confession make Sungmin’s eyes widen a few centimeter, he hold his lover hand and grip it tightly, “… Why?”

“Since I’m not Mr. Cho’s son anymore… I have no right to continue my study there, Min. After all he was the one who pay for my tuition. As you know, Min… right now I’m just Kyuhyun… a 17 years old boy with no parents. I don’t have a lot of money to pay my tuition”

“You can use mine” Sungmin quickly offered, “I know that it wasn’t much but… all of our classmates like you, Kyuhyun-ah and you are really smart, I didn’t want you to quit from school, not when I’m the one who make you like this. I’ll go to the headmaster today. I’ll tell her to change my name with yours. I’m sure that she will do it right away”

“Min…”

“You’ll go to school. I’ll tell her that I’ll quit today”

Sungmin was about to walk away but Kyuhyun quickly grab his hand, stopping him. He walk slowly to stand in front of Sungmin and lift Sungmin’s chin so he was looking into his eyes, “You don’t have to do that, Min. I know that even though our classmates treat you badly but I know that you like to go to school and study. I didn’t want you to quit from school so I could go myself. I couldn’t do that, Min…”

“But, Kyunie… I was––“ Sungmin stop his words when he feel Kyuhyun’s finger on his lips, stopping him.

“Don’t even think of blaming yourself, Min… I don’t want to hear that. And it’s not your fault. I was the one who make the decision to choose you over my own family and I already tell you what my reason is. Besides…” he smile while Sungmin’s left cheek, “You are the one who said that I’m a smart boy. I didn’t have to go to school because I already smart in the first place” Kyuhyun couldn’t help but laughed when he see Sungmin snorted at his words, “Beside… I want to catch my dream, Min” this words success to make Sungmin to look at him in the eyes, “I see a café, not far away from our school, they has a live music so I think I could try to work there. You know… I always dream that my songs could be heard by everyone. So, you don’t have to worry… even though I’m not going to school anymore but I was one step closer to my dream, Min… and it makes me really happy”

Sungmin couldn’t help but smile when he see Kyuhyun’s genuine smile. Even though he still didn’t want Kyuhyun to quit from school but after hearing Kyuhyun’s words about his dream and the happiness that play on his eyes, it makes Sungmin happy too.

He will be happy.

As long as Kyuhyun is happy.

Kyuhyun look at the audience in front of him. Smile plastered on his face when he see some of them are giving him a standing up ovation after he ended his song. It’s been a week since he start to work in this café. The owner quickly accept him as their singer after he hear Kyuhyun’s voice that time. He said that with Kyuhyun singing on his café, they could gain more customer because his voice and his songs is really good.

He was praised by many of their customer and he really like that. Everyday… there are more people who come to this café just to hear him singing. A lot of people were there to hear his songs and he is really glad because he was one step closer to his dream.

Everyday, he would walk Sungmin to his school before he go to work. His guitar was always there to accompany him working at ‘Angel Café’ the café that hire him as their singer. His shift ended on 3 in the afternoon and he will always pick Sungmin up from his school to walking home together.

Walk.

Yeah… they always walk. It needed 15 minutes for them to reach their house but they didn’t mind it because they always hold hands while telling each other about their days. When Kyuhyun has to work overtime, Sungmin would be there to greet him at their house with a cooked dishes that Kyuhyun loves very much.

Today, Kyuhyun has to work overtime. There are some people who want him to continue singing even though his shift end already. He walk home with a biggest smile plastered on his face. His guitar was secured on his back. Kyuhyun d inside of his jacket to feel the envelope. His boss give him a bonus because after Kyuhyun start to work there, the costumer increasing 20% from before he work at that café and his boss give him some bonus as a thank you from him.

Kyuhyun stop on his track. He just need to turn right and walk for 1 minutes more to reach their house but… Kyuhyun look at his left, the market is just 3 minutes away from his place right now. He turn left and start to walk again. He plan to spend his some of his bonus today. Even though he know that Sungmin already waiting for him with his dishes but he want to give him something too.

If he could, Kyuhyun would smile wider when he thought of something that his lover really like. It’s been a long time since they could eat Korean Beef and Kyuhyun know Sungmin really like to eat them. And with his bonus, Kyuhyun could get some for them today. He fastened his pace when he could see the market. He was about to enter it when someone was thrown at his direction. He quickly catch that person before he hit the ground.

“Don’t ever think to come back to my shop again, you damn kid!” the owner of the shop yelled before he go back inside.

“Hey… are you o–– Min?” Kyuhyun look at the person on his arms with questioning look. Here he was, the person who he think would be staying at their house and waiting for him to go home from his works, being thrown into his arms and yelled at.

Sungmin’s eyes widen when he look at his savior, “Kyu?” Kyuhyun just nodded his head and help Sungmin to stand up. “What did yo–– ouch…” Sungmin couldn’t help but let out a groan when he feel pain on his feet.

“You okay?” Kyuhyun hold Sungmin’s body when he see that his lover was about to fall for the second time that day. “Is it hurts?” Kyuhyun help Sungmin to sit on the road when he nodded his head, “Here… let me see…” he inspect Sungmin’s foot and frowned when he see a forming bruise on Sungmin’s ankle. He try to touch it but stop when he hear Sungmin groaning in pain, “It think you sprain your ankle, baby” Kyuhyun chuckled when he hear Sungmin groan in annoyance, “Can you walk?”

“I don’t think so… it hurts so much when I try to stand. I couldn’t imagine how much it hurts to walk”

“Could you carry my guitar, Min?” Sungmin nodded and Kyuhyun helped him to secured his guitar on Sungmin’s back. After that, he crouch down with his back in front of Sungmin, “Climb on my back”

“Aaah nooo, Kyunie~~ I think I could walk by myself”

Kyuhyun turn his body after he hear Sungmin’s words, frown could be seen on his face as he did so, “Min…”

“But I’m heavy~~” Sungmin whined.

“I don’t care, Min. You are in pain and I don’t want you to hurt yourself more than this, baby…” he said while holding Sungmin’s hand tightly, “So… listen to me and climb on my back, okay? Who say that you are heavy, Min… you are as light as feather”

“Cheesy, Kyu…”

“I’m serious, Min”

Sungmin encircle his hand on Kyuhyun’s neck and let himself to be carried by his lover, “Don’t complain when you feel tired, okay? I already warn you, Kyu” he said with his made-up mad voice.

Kyuhyun chuckled at Sungmin’s voice, “Don’t worry, honey… I won’t”

The walk home was filled with Sungmin telling Kyuhyun about his day at school and vice versa. In no time, they are reach their house safely. Kyuhyun help Sungmin to sit on their bed before he rushed to the bathroom to find some wash clothes and basin. He fill the basin with the ice cube from the refrigerator before he come back to Sungmin’s side once again. He massages Sungmin’s ankle to make the bones to go back at their right place before he start to compress them.

“Min” Kyuhyun said after a while, his hands is still busy to compressing Sungmin’s leg.

“Eung?”

“What did you do on that market?” Kyuhyun look at his lover when he see that Sungmin is not going to answer his question, “Baby…? We promise that there will be no secret between us, right?”

Sungmin look at his lap while gripping on his own hands tightly, “I…” he whispered. He look at Kyuhyun for a while before he look back at his lap, “I was trying to persuade that uncle to let me work there” he said softly.

Seeing his lover distress look, Kyuhyun hold Sungmin’s chin and lift it up, “Why?” he didn’t intended to make his lover even more stressed but he really need to know why Sungmin want to work in that place.

“I…” Sungmin started, trying to look away from Kyuhyun’s eyes, “I always see you working hard for the both of us… and it hurt my heart, Kyu…” he whispered, tears starting to fill his eyes when he remember Kyuhyun’s tired face every night. “I want to try to lessen your burden… I think that maybe… if I works too, I would help you to fulfill our needs”

“Min…” Kyuhyun said softly. He reach for Sungmin’s hand and hold it tightly, “You know that I like my works, right? I didn’t feel burdened at all, Min…”

“But Kyuhyun, I want to help you… I always think that I bothered you with my life. You, working hard to earn money while I just sit there on the classroom, listening to the teacher. I always feel that I was your burden… I always thought that maybe it was better if I didn’t appear on your life. That thought always cross my mind when I see your tired face, Kyu… I always think that I should disappear from your life so you could go back to your family. But, another part of me didn’t want you to leave me. I don’t want you to give up on me. I want you to know that somehow I could help you to earn money, Kyu… because I always think that I was your burden and someday you’ll get tired of me and leave me alone. I don’t want to be alone again, Kyu… I rather died than to live without you”

Kyuhyun wipe Sungmin’s tears before he hug him tightly. He always know that Sungmin is hiding something from him. He is glad that with that accident, Sungmin could open up to him and tell him about what had bothering him everyday. Kyuhyun tighten his hold on Sungmin’s body, letting Sungmin to let out all of his burden. After a while, he let go of Sungmin and hold both of his shoulder to look at him in the eyes, “Don’t ever think that you are my burden, Min… you are not a burden. Not at all. I always tell you that I really like my works right now. Even though I will feel tired when I come home but I’m satisfied, Min… to know that a lot of people was there to hear me singing and to know that you will always be home to greet me, it was the biggest happiness in my life, Min. So don’t, don’t ever think that you are a bother to me because you are not” He wipe Sungmin’s tears away and kiss his eyelids lovingly, “Don’t cry anymore baby. I’m here and will always be here for you. I will not leaving you, Min… not in my entire life because I rather died than to live without you too”

The next day, Kyuhyun success to persuade Sungmin to stay at home. Even though Sungmin could walk by himself but Kyuhyun said that it was better for Sungmin to rest for a day. And here he was, sitting on their bed while reading on his textbook, he didn’t want to miss a lesson just because his ankle is sprained. Sungmin was making a few notes on his textbook when he hear someone knock the door. With a big effort, Sungmin walk and open his door.

“Who––” Sungmin’s eyes widen when he see Kyuhyun’s mother standing in the doorway, “Aah… he-hello…” he greet and bow his body.

Kyuhyun’s mother look at him from head to toe before he look inside of Sungmin’s house “Is Kyuhyun inside?” Sungmin step back when he see Kyuhyun’s mother walking into his house. He just stand there on the doorway, looking at Kyuhyun’s mother who inspected his house. “I ask you… didn’t you hear me?”

“A-aah…” Sungmin look down at his feet, somehow he afraid to look at Kyuhyun’s mother right now, “Kyuhyun is working”

“Working?” she said with a shocked voice, “You let my son to work and you just sit here and enjoying his money?” she sneer at him, “I don’t know why Kyuhyun love someone like you when there is a lot of beautiful girls who was willing to give their life for him” she laughed mockingly before she inspected Sungmin once again, “Such a low-life like you want to be with the only heir of Cho’s family… it’s not even a funny joke for me. And you called that love?”

Sungmin balled his fist tightly, listening to her words make him angry. He could understand if she hate him like everyone else on this village but for her to insult his relationship with Kyuhyun make him angry, “I’m sorry, Ma’am. If you are here just to insulting our relationship, it would be better if you leave my house right now”

“Did you just chase me away?” she walk closer so now she was standing in front of Sungmin, “I see that you are brave enough to talk to me like that. Actually, I never want to step my foot on this filthy house like this but… for my son… for him to wake up from his silly dream, I have to let myself to go to this place” she look around the house before she look at Sungmin’s face closely and then she laughed hard, “I never think that fate would mock me like this. I once try to separate you two but fate brings you back to him once again. Aahhh such a wonderful meeting~~” She said mockingly.

Didn’t know what she mean, Sungmin just frozen on his place. He look at Kyuhyun’s mother confusedly and was about to ask her what did she mean but she cut him off by her throwing two bundle of money on his face, “I know that this is what you want, Lee Sungmin. You blinded my son with the thing that you called love so you could get all of his money, right?”

“No!” Sungmin shouted, he look at her with anger on his eyes. He couldn’t take this anymore. For her to insult his love for Kyuhyun… he couldn’t take it anymore. “I really love him! I don’t care if he was coming from a poor family. I love him for who he is… not from what family he was”

“Bull! You make my son to fall for you before you take all of his money. You blinded him with this sick feeling you called love so Kyuhyun… he… even though I beg him to leave you, he wouldn’t do that because you already make him to fall head over heels for you” she look at Sungmin in the eyes before she slap Sungmin’s cheek softly again and again, “When you know that Kyuhyun’s father disowned him from his family, I know you wait for me to go to you place and say, ‘So Sungmin, could you leave Kyuhyun? I’ll give you everything you want’ but you know… I wouldn’t do that. I already know about your little trick, Lee Sungmin. At first you will act like you never want our but then slowly but surely you will take our money” she straighten her body and take a bundle of money from her bag and throw it again at Sungmin’s face, “I was kind enough to give you money, Lee Sungmin. Take that money and just disappear from him. Kyuhyun didn’t need someone like you on his life”

She was about to walk out from Sungmin’s house when she saw the money scattered around her, she turn her body just to see Sungmin throwing a bundle of money at her feet, “I don’t need your money” Sungmin whispered.

“You––“

“Sungmin I–– Mother?” she turn her body once again and see Kyuhyun standing on the doorway, “What are you doing here Mot–– Ma’am?”

“Cho Kyuhyun!”

Kyuhyun walk into the house and see the scattered money on the floor. He look at Sungmin and his heart hurts when he see the anger and hurts on his eyes. He know that his mother did something to try to persuade Sungmin to leave him. “I never thought that you are this low, Ma’am. To give someone money just to make him leaving the one he loved is so low in my eyes. Because you know… there’s nothing could buy love and to know that you think that money could solve everything is such a narrow minded” he continue to walk in, approaching his lover and ignoring his mother who was standing furiously on her feet. Kyuhyun grab Sungmin’s hand and hold it tightly, “Even though you give us everything in this world but I will not leave him. Not again. And Ma’am, I think you should leave this place because you are not welcome in here”

“Kyuhyun-ah! You couldn’t be like this, son… you are the only heir of Cho’s family”

“I’m sorry… but I think you still remember what Mr. Cho said a few weeks ago. He disowned me from the Cho’s family. I’m not his child anymore… I’m not your child anymore. I’m Cho Kyuhyun, a 17 years old boy and I’m not the heir of the Cho’s family”

Kyuhyun and Sungmin was sitting on their bed quietly. Kyuhyun’s mother leave 15 minutes ago with all of her money. Kyuhyun was holding Sungmin tightly on his arms as if telling him that he would always be there for Sungmin. “You know that I really love you right, Min? Don’t ever think about what she said to you because I know that you love me for who I am. Not because of my family background”

Sungmin nodded his head and buried his face on Kyuhyun’s chest, “There’s something bothering me, Kyu…”

“What is it, baby? You can tell me everything”

Sungmin look at Kyuhyun on the eyes and he tighten his hold on Kyuhyun’s body, “She said that she once trying to separate us but then fate bring us together again. I don’t know what she mean about that” Kyuhyun close his eyes and let out a long sigh, “Kyu…?”

Kyuhyun peck Sungmin’s lips and embrace him tightly, “I never want you to know about this, Min… I’m afraid that you will be mad at me if you know about it. I didn’t want you to leave me, Min…”

“What is it, Kyu?”

“Min…” Kyuhyun started, “Do you remember what happened on Christmas day 10 years ago?”

Sungmin let go of Kyuhyun hold and sit in front of him, facing him. of course he remember, the first happiness that come to his life, the first friend that he got but that happiness disappear on the blink of eyes. His first friend who make him waiting on that snowy park just to disappear like an air. How could he forget about that? He look at Kyuhyun’s eyes, trying to find some clue as to why he brought up this subject. A gasp could be heard from Sungmin and his eyes widen a few centimeter, “Don’t tell me that you are…?”

“Yeah…” he hold Sungmin’s hand tightly and caress the back of his hands, “It’s me… I’m that boy, Min…”

“Wha-How?”

“Maybe my mother was right, fate was playing trick on us, Min. I never thought that I could see you again. Not when I was away from this village for 10 years long”

“But why? Why didn you leave me that time? Why did you make my hopes up just to crush it right away? Why Kyu? Why?”

Kyuhyun shift closer to Sungmin and caress his cheeks lovingly. He pull Sungmin’s head to lean on his shoulder, embracing him. “When I got home that day, I tell my mother that I like someone. I found someone that I want to protect in my life. The next day, she go with me to see you at the park but when I pointed at you, she quickly pull my hand and take me home. She locked me up in my room, ignoring my shout and tell my father that we should move right away. I know that he was confused at first but I didn’t know what my mother do to make him agree to move to another city. We leave two days after that. She never let me to go out from my room in that two days. My father once asked her why she locked me up but she tell her that I was doing a bad things so I need to be punished. My father never know about me liking another boy when I was 8 years old and my mother never told him about that because she thinks that it was a disgrace to the family” he tighten his hold after he finish his story and kiss the top of Sungmin’s head, “I never want to leave you, Min… but I was just a 8 years old boy that time. Still oblivious and didn’t know what to do to make me stay at this village and continue to be your friend but I’m different now, I will never let anyone to separate us again, Min… not even my mother”

Sungmin close his eyes and lean closer to Kyuhyun’s body. He didn’t know what to do anymore. He is happy that he finally found his long lost friend but he is sad at the same time. Kyuhyun is the one who make him wait on that snowy park for a 5 full day just to know that the said person didn’t come at all.

“Don’t be sad… I promise that we’ll play again tomorrow, okay?”

“… I didn’t want you to leave me, Min…”

Sungmin close his eyes and let out a long sigh. He already make his decision. He tighten his hold on Kyuhyun’s body and peck his right cheeks, “I love you, Kyu… and this story will not change my love for you. Yes, I was a little sad and disappointed but that was a long time ago. The important thing is now… you always there for me, Kyu… you love me when everyone else not. You take care of me and hold me like this when I feel lonely. You are the one who make my life complete, Cho Kyuhyun and I love you for that”

Kyuhyun smile when he look at Sungmin’s eyes. He kiss Sungmin’s kiss deeply, trying to tell him how much he love him, “Thank you, Min” Sungmin just nodded his head as his answer.

“By the way, Kyu… when did you know that I was that boy?”

“I know it since the first time I laid my eyes on you, Min. I know because your eyes is the one that captive me that time. The eyes that told nothing but loneliness and it makes me want to protect you and make you happy. When I was a child, I always tell myself that I’ll tell you my name if I found you again so I could know yours”

“So, because of that you lied to the teacher, telling them that you have asthma when you are healthy. Walking to my place and told me your name just because you want to know my name?”

Kyuhyun just laughed as his answer, “Yeah…” he said between his laughter.

Sungmin punch Kyuhyun shoulder lightly before he trail his lips to Kyuhyun’s and kiss him deeply. Kyuhyun on the other hand, he hold Sungmin body tightly letting Sungmin to dominance him for a while before he push Sungmin’s body on the bed and kiss him deeply. “Love you, Min”

3^rd February 2014

Sungmin was busy making a cake on his little kitchen. Today is Kyuhyun’s birthday and he plan to make a little party for him. Kyuhyun was away since two days ago, he said that he has to go to Seoul with his boss but he promise that he’ll come home today.

After the cake is done, Sungmin hide it inside their little refrigerator and start to dress himself. He didn’t want Kyuhyun to see him so messed up like this, with some cream on his hands and his crumpled clothes. He want to give the best for Kyuhyun today, especially himself. He has to dress up properly for today.

Sungmin was reading a book when he hear the door opened, he look at the doorway to see his smiling boyfriend. Quickly, he get up from the bed and rush to hug him tightly, sometime giving him a butterfly kisses on Kyuhyun’s face, “Did you miss me that much, Minnie?” Kyuhyun said with a teasing voice and that successful to make Sungmin to pout his lips cutely. Seeing his lover pouting lips, Kyuhyun quickly giving him a peck on his lips and hug him as tight as possible, “I miss you too, Min. I feel that my heart going to explode if I didn’t see you today”

“Cheesy” Sungmin look at Kyuhyun face who laughed because of his words. He lean his head on Kyuhyun’s chest and listening to the thumping sound of Kyuhyun’s heartbeat. It beating so fast and Sungmin know that his own is doing the same. “But you know, Kyu… I think I miss your cheesy words. 3 days without you is like forever to me. I always longing to see your face and hear your voice”

“Now, look who are the one who say some cheesy words” Kyuhyun said teasingly. Sungmin just buried his face on Kyuhyun shoulder and bit it lightly, “Aah… it hurts, Minnie~~” he whined like a 5 years old boys.

“You are the one who taught me that, Cho Kyuhyun. Don’t blame me if I become a cheesy man like you!”

Kyuhyun laughed once again before he kiss on top of Sungmin’s head, “You learn well, Minnie-ah. Now, where is my meal? I’m starving~~ 3 days without your cooking is sooo unbearable for me”

They walk into the house and Kyuhyun quickly sit in front of the table, waiting for Sungmin to heat up the dishes. After everything was done, Sungmin place them in front of Kyuhyun and they start to eat silently. Well… as silent as they could because Kyuhyun keep praising Sungmin’s cooking skill and telling him how much he miss them when he was away.

When they are done, Kyuhyun helping Sungmin to wash the dishes. Sungmin was soaping them while Kyuhyun rinsing it. Sometime Sungmin would hold Kyuhyun’s hand with his soapy one, making Kyuhyun to let out a groan because he has to rinse the plate once again.

Kyuhyun was on the bathroom when Sungmin take out the cake from the refrigerator. He stand in front of the table when he hear Kyuhyun is done bathing. “Happy birthday, Kyu!!” Sungmin shouted while giving him the brightest smile that he ever had. He laugh hard when he see Kyuhyun shocked face in front of him.

“Min… Wha––?”

“Silly, Kyu… today is 3^rd February!! Your birthday!!” Sungmin said, still holding the cake in front of Kyuhyun, “Now blow the candle and make a wish!” Still with a confused look Kyuhyun blow the candle. He close his eyes and start make a birthday wishes. “Now! Let’s eat the cake!!” Sungmin lead Kyuhyun to sit in front of the table once again. He placed the cake on the table and rush to the kitchen to get some spoon for them. “Sorry if it’s not that delicious”

“You made this, Min?” Sungmin nodded his head eagerly. Kyuhyun lean  forward to kiss him on the lips and his him a wide smile, “Thank you for everything, Minnie-ah…”

“I was the one who should say that, Kyunie… thank you for always be there for me and loving me”

“You really learn well, Sungminnie~~ now, say aaa~~” Sungmin do what he was told and Kyuhyun feed him the cake. Even though they have one spoon on each other hand but instead of eating by themselves, they start to feed each other.

“Ah Min! I have something to show you!” Kyuhyun rush to his bag and take something out from it. He sit back in front of Sungmin and show him the paper. “I passed the audition, Min!! They even make some contract with me!!”

Sungmin titling his head and look at Kyuhyun confusedly, “Audition? Contract? I don’t understand, Kyu”

“When I sing on the café a few days ago, a man said to my boss to bring me to Seoul to do the audition. He say he was a talent scout from SM Entertainment and he is interested with me. We go there and yesterday, I was auditioned. I pass that stage and the man take me to see the chairman. He said that I have a good talent to be an idol so the man tells me to sing in front of him. He look really impressed with my voice and sometime talking to the said man and after I’m done, he tell me to sign contract with his agency, Min!”

Sungmin was smiling widely when Kyuhyun ended his story. He leap to Kyuhyun’s body and give him a butterfly kisses, “Congratulations, Kyu! Finally, you could get what you are always dreaming for!”

“It was because of you, baby… you always support my back and be there when I was afraid to face the future. And Min… we’ll move to Seoul in a few days. The agency already give me a dorm for us to stay so we don’t need to worry about it”

“But, Kyu… what about my study here?”

“I already tell them about our relationship, Min. They are not that concerned as long as it didn’t interfere my career and you have a scholarship until you graduate from high school and I know that there will be a lot of high school in Seoul who want you to go to their school. You are really smart, Min. I’m sure that you’ll get to go to school as soon as we get there” Kyuhyun said while caressing Sungmin’s hair lovingly. He knows that in different city, there will be a lot of people who will like him. Not like this village where everyone hated him. He want Sungmin to make a lot of friends and hang out with them. He want Sungmin to experience what it was like to be a high school student, “And one more thing, Min... they give me scholarship to continue my study. They didn’t want their artist to be a drop out from high school”

Just as Kyuhyun said, they move to Seoul 4 days after that. Sungmin dan Kyuhyun was accepted on one of the best school in Seoul and Sungmin was having a lot of friends on his new school. He was really popular among girls and sometime he has to break their heart when they confessed their feeling to him. Although Kyuhyun is happy seeing his lover was loved by everyone else but he always feel jealous when some girls – even boys – confessed their feeling to him. Kyuhyun still remember when he has to go after Sungmin when Donghae, one of the famous soccer player in their school, ask Sungmin to be his boyfriend or when Eunhyuk, the best dancer in their school, ask Sungmin to go on a date with him. He even has to tell them that Sungmin is already have him as his boyfriend. Since that day, no one was brave enough to confess their feeling to Sungmin once again but they always stay close to him as their friend.

When the school is done, Sungmin always accompany Kyuhyun to train at SM Entertainment. Kyuhyun’s trainer always welcome him on their training session because she said that Kyuhyun always sing better when Sungmin was there with him. Seeing the good progression on her trainee, she said that she will recommend Kyuhyun to debut soon as SM new soloist and she even persuade Sungmin to work as his manager. Kyuhyun quickly agreeing her statement and persuade Sungmin to agree with her and after a few tries, finally Sungmin agreed. She even ask one of her friend to teach Sungmin how to be a good manager.

After 3 months training under SM Entertainment, finally Kyuhyun debut as their solo artist. Sungmin was there when Kyuhyun doing his first stage and he was the one who cry hard when Kyuhyun receive an award for the first time. Kyuhyun career is really bright. His voice could impressed a lot of people. He even become the one who spread the Korean songs to the worlds and he was happy because his dream is finally come true. More and more people who was listening to his songs.

But, because of his career too Kyuhyun has to hide his relationship with Sungmin. When they are on public, they have to act professionally and resist themselves to show their love to each other. They know that in their country, the same gender relationship is still a taboo and it could crush Kyuhyun’s career too but Kyuhyun couldn’t help but smile when some of his fans start to ship him with Sungmin. They said that Sungmin is a cute person and he always there to take care of Kyuhyun. They even wish them to be a real couple.

Kyuhyun’s career is continue to shine on his first year become a soloist. Until one day, one of sasaeng fans capture a photo of him and Sungmin kissing on his waiting room. It spread really fast on the internet. Some of his fans were leaving him because of that, telling that they didn’t want to become a homoual’s fans. Kyuhyun is really stressed out. The agency demands him to explain it to their fans because a lot of them is starting to leaving him and it make their income to dropped. He has to hold a conference press to tell them that he was indeed in a relationship with Sungmin. He said that he will not break up with Sungmin even with the cost of his career. He wouldn’t do that because Sungmin was already there from the very start of his career and he didn’t want to break up with him because he want his fans to come back to him. He wouldn’t do that and it success to make Sungmin cry a river.

On the same month, Kyuhyun get a news that his mother passed away because of sickness. He and Sungmin come back to the village to attend her funeral but Kyuhyun’s father didn’t let them in, so they are staying outside until the funeral is done. On that day, Kyuhyun know that his father is having another wife and the mistress is carrying his father’s child. It makes Kyuhyun less guilty when he know that she was carrying a boy. He relief that the Cho’s family bloodline will continue after the child is born to this world.

After come back from her mother funeral, Kyuhyun continue to work hard to fulfill his dream. With half of his fans leaving him because of his scandal, he has to work hard to continue his career at the music industry. But, with his passion for music and Sungmin who always supporting his back, slowly but surely Kyuhyun could gain the recognition from a lot of people. Slowly, his fans start to increase once again. Some fans who leave him because of his scandal start to liking him once again and accepting that Kyuhyun is in a relationship with Sungmin. They even made a fans club name from his and Sungmin’s last name. ‘Joyers (조이-ers)’ a combination from Cho (조) and Lee (이). He and Sungmin really like that name because it has a beautiful meaning too. They always think that it was their fans hope to always give them the joy in their life. Their fans? Yes… because starting from that day, Kyuhyun’s fans is become a Sungmin’s fans too.

Olympic Fencing Gymnasium. This is where Kyuhyun will hold his first concert. Finally, after 2 years debuting on Korean music industry, Kyuhyun could held his own concert. He was there, standing in front of his fans on his own stage to deliver his songs to his fans. The concert was starting since 2 hours ago and it was the last song from Kyuhyun to his fans.

“This song I made when I’m think of someone precious to me” his fans screamed because they know who that person is, “And since that person is very eager to learn Japanese language these day. I think that I will make one song for him using Japanese language. It is a new song and he didn’t even know about it. I’m sorry, baby… but I want to give it as a surprise present for you” his fans scream louder when they could see Sungmin’s shocking face from the LED screen, “This song is for you, Min…. Happy birthday, my love”

He let out a long sigh to hold his tears before he put the mic in front of this lips. “On this day… this was the happiest moment in my life. I really want to thank you to all of you. Thank you for always there for me, supporting me and listening to my songs. That was the biggest dream that I ever had in my life. Thank you very much” Kyuhyun bows his body deeply. His fans start to scream when they see Kyuhyun wiping his own tears when he bows and it makes them crying too.

After a while, Kyuhyun straighten his body and smile brightly, “And since it was the happiest day in my life, I want to welcome the most precious person for me, Sungmin…” the fans start to scream when Sungmin was pushed to the stage by some staff. Kyuhyun, seeing his lover confused look quickly take his hand and walk to the center of the stage. He hold one of Sungmin’s hand tightly with his own, he look at Sungmin eyes before he kiss Sungmin forehead lovingly, “Min… thank you for always be there for me since the beginning. Thank you for always supporting me, loving me and taking care of me” a loud cheer could be heard when Kyuhyun kneel in front of Sungmin. He the back of his pants before he let out a really beautiful ring, “Min… would you marry me?” he said while looking at Sungmin in the eyes.

Sungmin eyes widen when he see the ring in front of him. He look at his lover who look at him with hopeful eyes. The fans on the venue start cheering for him to accept Kyuhyun’s proposal but Sungmin’s mind is really blank right now. He still couldn’t register what had happened in front of him. Tears start to fall from his eyes when his mind start to work properly. His legs feel like jelly right now. Kyuhyun just propose to him in front of a lot of people. In front of his fans. He look down and grip his pants tightly.

Sungmin try to put on his best smile but he couldn’t. His emotion really overwhelming him right now. He look up when Kyuhyun tighten his hold on his hands. The venue is quiet right now, the fans was holding their breath to hear Sungmin’s answer. “Y-Yes” Sungmin said while he nodded his head.
