Jiyeon’s POV

A year has passed by and I can’t believe that I kind of cheated on my boyfriend, Im Jaebum, or just simply JB.

What happened in Santorini, stays in Santorini.

Yeah, I’m in Seoul now and another year had just started and I’m on my last year as a college student.

I’m taking up Marketing, the same course that JB is taking up.

I’m also one of the writers for our school paper and this will be my last as well.

But nevertheless, I’m still contented with what I have achieved so far. I became editor-in-chief but at the same time, still write for the school paper.

I once wrote about summer love and that was just last year.

Many loved it, but also many didn’t like it.

The school paper management though, loved it because of the emotions that were well delivered in the article.

If only they knew. If only they knew what I had been through. If only HE knew the truth about what really what happened to me during that particular summer.

Enough with that “summer love”, today is the first day of classes and I’m currently waiting for my first class and at the same time waiting for JB.

“Well isn’t this just the right song?”  I said sarcastically to myself.

One Direction’s Summer Love is now playing on my iPod.

When did I download this song? I can’t even rememb----

“Yoona!!!” my one and only sister, Yoona. She must have downloaded this! Ugh!

Oh well, might as well finish this song.

“’Cause you are my summer love. You’ll always be my summer love” I sang through some parts of the chorus when someone keeps on tapping my shoulder.

I removed the earphones on my ears.

I looked up and saw this girl.

Obviously, she’s a Korean. She has light brown hair that falls right below her shoulders, and she also has light make up on.

“Annyeong!” I greeted her with a smile.

“Annyeong!” she greeted back, “Uhmm, is this room BA 310?”  she asked.

“Ah yes. Is your class here too?” I asked her.

“Yes” she shortly answered.

“I’m Jiyeon. Park Jiyeon” I offered my hand forward.

“I’m Ji Eun. Lee Ji Eun. But you can call me IU” she smiled and shook my hand.

She sat beside me and we began talking until JB came.

“Hey babe!” he greeted me and kissed my forehead.

“Hi babe” I greeted him back and she sat beside me on the other side.

“Oh yeah babe, this is IU and she will be our block mate. Isn’t it cool?” I introduced IU to JB with an exciting voice.

I really like IU’s company.

“Annyeong! I’m JB, Jiyeon’s boyfriend” JB introduced himself and shook hands with IU.

So we waited and waited for our professor to arrive and to our dismay, he didn’t show up.

“Aigooo! *facepalm* he’s always not around during first days” I complained. I should’ve have known! He has been my professor since my 1^st year in college.

“So you know our professor?” IU asked.

“Yeah, we know him alright” JB was the one who answered.

Why wouldn’t he know? He’s JB’s uncle for Pete’s sake!

“Ah IU, are you a transferee here?” I forgot to ask her that earlier.

“Yeah, I’m from Greece, Santorini to be exact. I actually came with my boyfriend. He’s an engineering student but same year as us” she said.

With the sound of Santorini, boyfriend, and, engineering student, my heart started to beat rapidly and a memory came flashing

-just made this chapter earlier this afternoon so it doesn't have that much of a first chapter feel...but i hope you like it :)
