Description

I really hate life, that's why I indulge myself in the art of trickery. I am into planning pranks and well causing trouble. My name is Han Chanmi, I've been to about 13 different schools and my parents have decided it would be best to move to Korea and live with my grandparents. My mom and dad are divorced now, its been what... two weeks since their parting? Its still kinda fresh but I think its okay, not that I like them apart but its not that bad I guess. Anyways, back to my story. This is my 14th school located in a new environment; Seoul and I'm not looking forward to it. I really like being in a new place though, Korea's much more exciting than Canada, my mom found work in a near by office thanks to the help of her dad and I think she's enjoying the new place. As long as she's happy I'm happy, I just wish she and my father cared about my happiness too...Ugh.

Its Monday and I am not looking forward to starting over again, maybe if I hadn't broken that girl's nose I would still be at my old school. Then again, I'd be in Canada so I don't think I regret anything. But why must I attend this stupid school?

I had dressed in their stupid uniform but I rolled up the sleeve and piled on my silver bracelets on one arm and my charm bracelet from my grandparents on the other arm. Their uniform had consisted of a plan white button down paired with a black jacket that had their school logo pressed on directly on the left . Then they had to get one of the shortest skirts, it was barely past my thigh! It was a nice navy blue colour and they also sent me a pair of boring black shoes..they even sent freaking plain white socks. How ridiculous can this get? My old school never had this crap...

I didnt mind their regulations on how we "ladies" should dress, instead I fetched my black converse and also dyed my tips purple the night before school started, of course without my mom knowing. Which explains the silent treatment this morning, she didnt even say anything about the broken plate I had dropped last night in the sink! She must be pissed...oh well.

"Mom," I whined like there was no reason in living anymore.  I plopped down my elbows on the counter beside her and stared at her back grudgingly hoping she would notice my existence finally."Do I have to go to some prestigious school for the dull?"

Here we go again, I never get my way but I will not lose without a small struggle seeing as how a full out grudge match takes too much time and effort I really didnt have at the moment.

"Look," She sighed not even giving me a glance as she placed the vase on our new kitchen counter and grabber her things on the kitchen table. "I really dont have time to fight with you. I have to go meet with my boss this morning and I'm running late. Can you put the flowers your father sent you in here and also water them?"

"Whatever," I nodded and walked towards the couch where my bouquet laid. My dad had sent me a lot of baby's breath because its my favourite flower; simple and elegant. He wanted me to know he still cared for me, well thats what the letter attached to the flowers said...He couldnt have just sent me to a regular school to show his concern for me?

"Thank you!" She smiled and placed a kiss on top of my forehead before running out the door. "See you tonight for dinner!"

This story is of a teenage girl who is struggling, even if she thinks she isnt. She has to learn to power through difficult situations and try to make the best of it. Chanmi is strong headed and also quite sneaky. She is basically a master in the art of trickery.

What happens if she meets the total opposite? What happens when she meets someone above her level? Will these two people change her for better or worse?
