“Donghae, save us! You’re our last hope!” the helpless cry of Heechul, Donghae’s brother, pierced the air, only to be overpowered by the other desperate cries of the angels who were falling off the ends of their planet, Sapphirus.

Donghae watched as his fellow angels were wiped out one by one, his tears flowing endlessly till his vision became blurred. His hands were trembling and his entire body was shivering with something much more than just fright. He stood rooted to his ground, trying his best to absorb Heechul’s last words.

Save us!

Donghae wiped away his tears furiously and blinked, taking in his surroundings. The ground was cracking from beneath him, the Heavens were tearing apart and the stench of the dead bodies around him was so revolting to the nose that Donghae felt like throwing up.

You’re our last hope!

Heechul’s cry constantly rang in his mind and Donghae had to shake his head vigorously to finally get back on track. Donghae had to find help, fast. Staggering away from the horrendous scene before him, Donghae thought about how quickly the atmosphere had changed from being peaceful to complete chaos. How would they have known that God would suddenly backfire on the angels that He himself created? What must He have been thinking?

Did we do something wrong? Something to anger God, perhaps?

Donghae shook the thoughts buzzing around his mind away and continued staggering forward with only one thing in his head. Though it did seem absurd, it was the only thing that Donghae could come up with.

He would have to get help from the deceitful demons, and to do that, he needed to convince their leader. And that leader was none other than Lee Hyukjae, the most horrifying person to have ever walked the grounds of the world.
