“Looks like we’re the only single ones left here.” The tan guy said looking up at the dark the sky.

The girl beside him nods while she watches the scene in front of her. Their friend having fun with each other after getting married that morning.

The after party would’ve been a blast if these two had brought their partners, which the both of them don’t have. So now they’re just at the side watching their friends enjoying the party with their respective partners.

“Oh god…I’m bored as hell.” He said again in a frustrated voice.

“Same here. Damn, I never thought I’d be this lonely.” She said letting out a dry laugh.

“You’re not the only one.” He said, chuckling at her words.

She snorted.

The latter lets out a sigh as he watches his friend with their girlfriend who is also the friend to the girl beside him.

“God, take away this boredom and I swear I will stop rejecting guys!” The brown-haired girl said jokingly making the guy beside her laugh at her ‘promise’ to god before they got into an awkward silence again.

The both of them lets out a sigh for the third time together.

“Hey, since we’re both single and bored, why don’t we try and date for a month?” The guy said looking at her.

She scoffed, “You have officially lost your mind.”

“No, I’m serious. I mean, Hanna said you haven’t been in a relationship for three years since your last boy cheated. So why not you get together with me? I’m a lady’s man. I won’t hurt you.” He winked at her.

She rolled her eyes, “That’s what all of them say at first.” She said with an annoyed look.

“Oh, come on, Jieun. Can’t you give me a chance? You know I’m interested in you since the first time we met.” He tried to convince her with a smile.

“If this is how you’re trying to woo me, it’s not working, Jongin.” Jieun crossed her hand to her body.

He lets out a sigh before going down to his knee, surprising her.

“Okay, let me do this again. Jieun, will you be my girlfriend? Just for a month if you’d like. And for the whole month, I’ll prove to you that I can be a good boyfriend and if during that month I didn’t convince you, you are free to walk away.” He said sincerely.

Jieun looked around to see if any of their friends are watching and lets out a relieved sigh when they seemed too occupied to notice this ‘proposal’ going on.

“Fine. Your trial starts today.” She said making the latter smile so wide that he swore his jaw hurts.

“I won’t disappoint you.” He said and made a pinkie promise with her.
