Under Unfortunate Circumstances

Description

Hi, I'm social retard and notorious clutz Annalisa Richie. I can't even formulate coherent sentences in front of my teachers, let alone strangers. So, my trip to South Korea was completely pointless, but, with the help of alcohol, I managed to mingle here and there, got myself into a few bad situations but hey, none as bad as the one I'm currently faced with. You see, I've got myself into some rather unfortunate circumstances; and now I have to get myself out of them. So you're here to read (and probably mock) my life. Enjoy.

P.S. I swear it'll be fun.

P.P.S. Disregard my clumsiness, it's all part of the unfortunate, pathetic being that is me.

Foreword

I kept checking my phone frantically.

Where the hell is she?! It was twenty two minutes past one already! Holy hell… What if she got lost? Or kidnapped? Why is this woman not picking up her phone?!?!?!

I panicked and shoved my toasted sandwich into my mouth while repeatedly checking my phone.

KHLOEEE! Pick up already!

I stood there chewing mouthful after mouthful, staring blankly at my phone, until I heard something like a riot along the busy square. I looked up from my phone to see a young man, in his twenties I think, running down the street with a mob of teenage girls behind him.

Oh no. He was coming right at me.

What do I do? Run?  I can’t, I froze up.

He was already an arms distance away and I couldn’t do anything about it. I just stood there, eyes growing wide as the man got closer and closer. It was almost like everything was moving in slow motion, all we need is Chariots of Fire playing in the background and we have a movie.

It seemed like I was standing there forever, but in reality it was only a few seconds. I squeezed my eyes shut, preparing for the impact.

We collided with a huge UMPH and ended up in a heap on the filthy ground, not being able to tell whose limbs were whose.

“I-I’m s-sorry…“ I whined, instantly regretting it… How pathetic.

I looked up to see the guy brushing off his jeans while I was still on the floor in a great tangle with my bag, struggling desperately to free myself. I waved my limbs around frantically, how the hell do I get out of this? Suddenly I caught a glimpse of my feet and noticed the heel of one of my shoes had snapped. Oh . My eyes widened in horror and I buried my face into my palms, feeling my cheeks grow hot.

“Hellooo...? Redhead?” The guy said in English as he offered me his hand. I wasn’t even aware he was calling me; I was busy willing the floor to open up and swallow me.

“Uh… Kamsahamnida…” I mumbled back in Korean (to which he raised his eyebrows at), and took his hand.

He pulled me to me feet and gave me a dazzling smile. Wow. He was good-looking. More than good-looking, he was gorgeous. He had a cute, boyish grin, a defined jawline, and deep brown eyes, like molten chocolate.

Gahh, stop it Annalisa, you’re staring.

I looked down at my feet and apologized again, feeling my cheeks flush. He pulled my chin up and looked me square in the eye with a deadpan expression.

“You better be.” His voice was cold. It all the blood from my body.

Oh crap.

“Oh.. I-I..” I stuttered, looking at him with sheer horror. What was I supposed to say?

All of a sudden the guy burst out into booming laughter: clutching his stomach and stomping his feet.

What the hell?

I stood and stared at him, wide eyed and a little bit frightened. Was this a prank?

“I was kidding! I didn’t realise you’d take it seriously,” He wheezed out in-between laughs.

I blushed again, I’m surprised my blood hasn’t reached boiling point with this amount of humiliation.

He was still chuckling, looking at my broken heel. I looked up at him and pouted, which only made him laugh more. Will this guy quit it already? My hand’s getting ready to give him a slap attack. Idiot.

When I looked back up I realised his expression had changed, confusion written all over his face, while looking around him.

“What is it?” I looked around too, trying to find what he was looking at… Until a wild Khloe appeared with an extremely smug grin.

I gave her a questioning look. The guy also looked confused, until she pointed to the left and gave us a cheesy grin, flipping her sand coloured hair over her shoulder. I looked back at the guy and he instantly looked relieved, I then realised Khloe was referring to the mob of girls trying to launch themselves at him earlier.

Which brings me to the question: why was there a mob? Was he dangerous? No... They were all young girls. Wait, is he famous?

Chapter 4: Nice update! So Jiyong is really interested in her...kekeke But I'm curious about one thing. How could Khloe call Jiyong? Did she call him with Annalisa's mobile phone? (cuz she just got his number right?) I don't think Annalisa gave out his number so easily or?
Well, those two have to tell each other a few personal things I guess. Otherwise there'll be more surprises for Jiyong (like the 1 week vacation etc. lol).
