Foreword

-cough- sorry i'm not very good at writing forewords otl. I hope you like my first story :)

 

I’m standing on a stage with a microphone in my hand, ready to sing my song. The lights turn on and I hear my name being chanted across the arena by my fans. “Sora, Sora!” It started to get louder until it felt like they were shouting in my ear; I opened my eyes to my foster-mum. I sighed, for it was only a dream.

 

My parents died in an earthquake when I was 15 and I didn’t have any relatives. I was adopted by a wedded couple who couldn’t have children of their own. The problem was, they lived in Korea. I was also given the name ‘MinJee’ which, I was told, means ‘Clever wisdom’. I’m now 17 and speak Korean like it was second nature; my dream is to be a popstar. So far I have had 30 auditions and I have failed them all, simply because I am not Asian. However, I have not given up
