YG speaks up the upcoming debut of their new female group iBe1 this August.YG Entertainment said in an interview on the 31st, “We have not decided on how to have iBe1 debut. The company is going through discussions on that currently. Mr. Yang Hyun Seok is putting a lot of emphasis and planning for iBe1’s debut.” Meanwhile, they revealed the meaning behind the band name "iBe1". "it's a combine of BIGBANG and 2ne1, chosen by the member themselves. But it has also a different meaning behind it: I Be The One. The questions is; will they be the one after all a lot of girl bands debuted this year, 2011.

"We will soon reveal the members of iBe1," said YG. "What I only can say is, the girls are working really hard to debut. I can see the BIGBANG and 2NE1 in them." he added and ended our interview.
