You ran forward, not knowing where to go as the rain hits your back strongly. The sound of your feet hitting against the pavement is the only sound you can hear.

“Soojin!”

You froze at your tracks, like someone was holding you back from moving forward, keeping you frozen at your spot. The voice that held so many memories; happiness, sorrow, pain.

You panted heavily for running so far as you felt his warm arms encircle around you. He kept you warm yet your heart is stinging with pain. As if never wanting to let go, he tightened his hug more.

“Soojin-ah..” He whispered by your ear, panting heavily, “If I had the chance, I could make you happy...”

You didn’t know if it was a coincidence or not, but the ring on your finger suddenly glimmered, glowing in the dark night.

“I want to be with you tonight.”
