Chapter 1: so i just finished rereading this for some reason at 3:13 in the morning, and i immediately hate my fifteen-year-old self for not being able to fully appreciate the beauty of this piece ?? reading it word by word was so, so rewarding to me as a reader - especially piecing the story together one by one with the different colors representing different realities & wavelengths of life, i guess, blending into one. reading it slowly and taking my time with it helped me notice along the way all the parallels and repetition etc. and the way the story wrapped up, the way everything in a sense fell into place was so beautifully done, and i'm not sure if it's because it's now 3:15am or because i'm still angry at past me or because this piece is simply so, so mindblowing and beautiful in one, but i'm visibly shaking right now and i love you so much and i admire your amazing talents. omg ok i'm gonna pass out but wow this is something im going to be returning to forever

Chapter 1: when you get halfway through the story and remembered that it was inspired by 1q84 and you're just like, oh. now it all makes sense.

and then you stare at the headers again and are like, oh. should have seen this coming.

And then you still somehow get shocked by the ending.
