I layed down in my bed, staring at the ceiling. I missed his charismatic face, his froggie eyes and

those pouty lips. I missed my childhood friend so much. 

''Jeisy!'' my mom called me from the kitchen.

I hurriedly got up and went downstairs ''Yes?'' I asked her.

''So what are you planning for your 18th birthday?'' she said while handling a laddle, looking at me.

Oh yeah! My 18th birthday! I almost forgot.

''Do you want it to celebrate in the white sands here in our beach resort?'' she asked looking back into her cooked food.

Again? I've been celebrating my birthday in our beach resort for 5 years. Isn't that tiring? Always the same place? 

''Mom, I've been celebrating my birthday for 5 years in our beach resort and I want something new.'' I replied.

''So, where are you planning to celebrate it?'' she said while cooking.

''Promise me, whatever decision I made, you'll allow me.''

''Yes.'' she said.

''I want it in Korea.'' I said while giving her a big smile.

My mom gave me a huge eyes and exlaimed ''In Korea?!''

I nodded.

''Why?'' she asked.

''I miss dad and I think it's our time to go back in Korea''

Korea is our hometown. We migrated here in Monte Carlo when I was 12 years old. My dad always visit us here during summer. My dad has a business there while my mom has a business here too, our beach resort. Many hollywood stars and tourists would come here in our beach resort.  I even met Ed Westwick, Katie Cassidy, Chord Overstreet, Selena Gomez, Justin Beiber and my favorite actress, Leighton Meester. 

''We're going back in Korea?'' my younger brother, Daniel exclaimed. He's only one year younger than me.

''Yes, I don't want to ruin your noona's 18th birthday. I want her to decide where she would want.

And I think she's happy with her decision.''

I could smell that the food that she's cooking is overcooked. 

''Mom, I think the food is already overcooked.'' I pouted.

''Oh!'' she hurriedly turned off the stove. 

I went to my bedroom. My mom allowed me to celebrate my 18th birthday in Korea. And I'm so happy about it. 

My feelings right now can't be explain. Someone opened the door.

''How many times I told you to knock before entering my room!'' I exclaimed.

''But I'm your brother!'' Daniel said while closing the door.

''Even though! You still need to knock!'' I said.

He sat beside me and asked ''Why do you want to celebrate your 18th birthday in Korea?''

Duh! I already explained it to mom a while ago.

''I know why'' he gave me a smirk.

I gave him a puzzled look.

''You want to see your childhood friend. Am I right?''

He's definetely right. 

''Oh, shut up! I need to change. We still have class.'' I said while pushing him out in my room.
