Refusal
More Than Words===
"Siwan-ah, please stop crying. What say you if we go for a walk?"
"I don't want to! I just want to see the dance!"
"Didn't I told you? It's a waste of time anyway. You're better off doing other things than watch his lame dance."
"Why? Why are you treating me like a kid? Why can't I do what I want?"
"Because...you're acting like a kid. Only kids cry."
"I'm not crying."
"But you are! Just look into the damn mirror!"
"I don't want to! I just want to watch Kevin's dance performance!"
"Don't think you're going to get everything you want with the same old tricks."
"I'm not! Yah, Kwanghee, I hate you! Stop controlling my life!"
"I hate you too. Ever since you got together with Kevin, you become stupid. You're not like this, before."
"You don't know me! Do you think I don't know the truth?"
"Truth? What?"
"You're just jealous!"
"Of what?"
"Kevin."
"Huh...what is there to be jealous about him? He's a loser. Yah, Siwan-ah, get back to your senses."
"No. You get back to your senses! Stop being so suspicious and negative about everyone."
"Oh...okay, so now, my concern is considered suspicious and negative."
"For crying out loud, I'm serious, Kwanghee! Just stop it!"
"Yeah, I can see that. You're seriously in love with Kevin."
"Kwanghee, I said, stop it! I just want to see him dance. Is it so wrong? Everyone said I used to be a great performer. But I can't seem to be what I used to be anymore. I can't even remember how or who or what I used to be. I want to learn about myself. I want to learn by watching Kevin. He's my only hope. And you had to crush that!"
"Siwan-ah, I just...it's just that...I don't want him to hurt you. Stop crying, please."
"I don't want to! Get lost!"
"Siwan-ah..."
"Is everything alright in here?"
"D...Dongjun."
"Kwanghee, why are you here? Where's Kevin?"
"He made Siwan cry."
"He didn't."
"Stop defending him, pabo."
"Okay, so can you two just tell me where's Kevin?"
"He's...at the park."
"Okay. Thank you Siwan. Kwanghee, I need to have a word with you, later."
"Uhh...okay."
A figure and voice that appeared at the door, interrupted their conversation.
"Kevin...Kevin...Kevin..."
"What? What's wrong with Kevin, Taeheon?"
"Kevin...sleep."
"What?!"
Dongjun rushed out of the room. Kwanghee and Siwan followed behind.
---
"Is he dead?"
"No, he's sleeping."
"I'm not stupid, Kwanghee."
"He will be alright, Siwan, I promise."
Dongjun tried to convince. He tried.
"Now, why don't you two go back to your rooms?"
"I don't want to! I want to see Kevin wakes up."
"Siwan-ah, just let him sleep. He will go back when he wakes up."
"Kwanghee's right, Siwan. Just go back first. You need rest."
"No, I don't want to. This is all your fault.Kwanghee."
"Yeah, okay. It's all my fault. Now can you go back to your room?"
"No! I want to wait until he wakes up."
"Kwanghee, can you bring Siwan back to his room?"
"No! I don't want to!"
"Yah, Siwan, stop yelling! He's sleeping."
"I don't care! I'm going to wait here until he wakes up!"
Dongjun sighed.
"You wait here for awhile. Sit quietly and don't move. I'll send Siwan back."
Kwanghee frowned but said nothing.
Siwan cried harder.
"No, please don't."
"Don't worry Siwan. Everything will be alright."
'He won't die. He will survive. As always.'
