EUNYOUNG POV

As I spent my days with Hakyeon and Hongbin Oppa it actually felt good to be free... To be single. Yeah I may not have a boyfriend anymore but now I don't have to worry about being too close with my bestfriends. As my thoughts went on and on around my mind I was disturbed by a curious Hongbin.

"Eunyoung-ah. Are you sad or are you just thinking?" He sat down next to me on the park bench followed by Hakyeon

"Just thinking" 

"Hopefully you're not thinking of leaving us are you?" Hakyeon joked and smiled brightly 

'These boys definitely knew how to make me smile' I thought

"of course not Oppa" 

We sat in silence as I began to got carried away in my thoughts again. 

'These boys seriously were protective of our friendship. We were just so comfortable together It would always be fine if we were all together.' I glanced at them 

'Would it be weird if I began dating one of them...?... It would most definitely be weird right? The other would just be a third wheel' I shuddered at the thought 

'Then again... Hongbin did have a crush on me when we were younger and I wasn't weirded out about that' 

My thoughts were disturbed once again when Hongbin's phone rang and vibrated in his pocket.

"hello?.. Neh mum. Arasso.. I'll be home soon" Hongbin placed the phone in his pocket and turned to Hakyeon and myself "I have to go. I'll see you both tomorrow for school"

I nodded in understanding and waved goodbye as he left in a hurry.

"His mum must need something" hakyeon mumured

'It seemed like Hakyeon wanted to say something else but didn't have the courage to say it to me. This was the first time I felt uncomfortable around Hakyeon... But only because he wasn't letting off his welcoming vibe as he usually did'  

"I-is there something wrong? Is there something you need to tell me?" I gave a concerned look in his direction 

"ani... Do you want to go somewhere else before i take you back home?" 

I shook my head 'This was so awkward and uncomfortable I couldn't handle it... I needed to leave. But why was it so awkward between us?'

"I'll walk you home then" he said quietly standing up 

We walked in silence whilst taking awkward glances at each other. I didn't know what was on Hakyeon's mind but it was bothering him a lot. Maybe something happened at home... Or at school. 

We arrived at my house and I have him a small hug

"Night Oppa. Stay safe whilst walking home" I smiled at walked into my house 

THE NEXT DAY - AT SCHOOL

I waited at my locker for Hongbin and Hakyeon to come and greet me before parting to our different classes. This was our normal routine. It went like this everyday. 

Soon after taking my necessary books from my locker Hongbin arrived with his usual smile on his face. 

"Good morning Eunyoungie~" he greeted 

"morning! Why so happy?" 

He shrugged and chuckled. 

"So where's Hakyeon Oppa?" I questioned

"He said he might be a bit late so we'll just see him at lunch" 

"oh... He's never late to school.. Maybe something came up?" I questioned Hongbin 

"I don't know... Maybe." 

'This was defintely not like Hakyeon. He was usually the morning person not someone to be late'

"Hongbin Oppa. Do you think Hakyeon was acting weird yesterday?" 

"Ahhh...no? I didn't notice anything different" 

'Weird..' I thought
