Suzy rested her head on his lap and he held her hand, wrapping it around her own waist. His other hand was holding a book. It was a habit of theirs to spend every afternoon together, after he was back from work and she was done with her assignments.
He’d read a book or watch TV while she’d lie on his lap, he would sometimes read to her. He wasn't that much of a booklover though, it was obvious to her that he was just using it as an excuse to hold her. She loved how passionate he was with her; he always seemed to want to embrace her.
“Oppa let’s go to the garden” she suggested as she looked up with a glint in her eyes. He smiled with a small nod. The garden was her favourite place in their house. Ever since he asked her to move in with him, the yard seemed to get more beautiful.
As soon as they reached it, she headed toward the water tap and watered some roses, her eyes glittering with the help of the setting sun. “You’re going to get sick Suzy-ah, it’s too cold” he frowned at her clothes, which failed to cover her body. He wouldn’t mind it in any other case, in fact, he would be quite welcoming, but it was beginning to get chilly.
He could tell that winter will be too cold. He didn’t entirely hate it though; it only meant she’d cuddle close to him every night.
