Description
Choi Minhee lives on her own. With no one to care for her, she depends on only herself to live a normal and decent life as the rest of her classmates. However, balancing finances, school, and a social life is harder than she had imagined. In an attempt to bring herself more money, she decides to take up an opportunity which in result brings her to her ultimate fate....
Kim Seokjin
Choi Minhee (You)
Probably the smartest girl in all of Kwanggi-do high school and often uses her wits to get her out of most situations. She's an intelligent 17 year old girl with no social life. As an emancipated child from the age of 14, Minhee has lived and survived the city life of Seoul perfectly by herself without her parent's help. Her family life is often a touchy subject and is more of a mystery than anything else. Because she's number 1 in her class, she spends her time throughout the day studying, getting away from the reality of life, if she's not working her infinite number of jobs just to make ends meet.
Kim Seokjin
Kim Seokjin, or rather, Jin is a notorious member of the gang infamously known as Bangtan. He's an arrogant person who knows no boundaries with his words. He's a quiet person who cares more about the progress of their ongoing operations rather than the well-being of Minhee. Well trained physically, he worries not about threatening people and looks down upon vile people. Many of his actions are passive, usually turning Minhee into an emotional and mental wreck.
Bangtan
I'm sure you know how these things go. They're an infamous gang (full of hotties oh babe) that causes a lot of trouble for the feds. Namjoon, their leader, is probably the most popular among the feds, next to Jin.
Foreword
After finally being able to lose the cops, Minhee panted heavily. Jin released her hand and looked at her carefully. "Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?"
She shook her head reassuringly. "I'm fine, don't worry." Her eyebrows furrowed down her face as she searched for a full breath of air. "Who were those guys?... I mean besides the cops?"
"Rivals, I think. Usually I'm not out to know who these certain people are, since it's mostly J-hope's and Taehyung's job." He wrapped his jacket around her shoulders, revealing his broad shoulders. "Here, take this."
"Are you sure they won't hurt us?" She asked warily.
He looked into her eyes intently. "I swear on my life. I'll do everything in my power to keep you safe in my arms." He pulled her into a hug. The intensity of his eyes disappeared as her visibility of him disappeared as well. Keeping his passionate tone, he murmured into her ear, "I promise.... I promise. Even if it means sacrificing my own safety."
With a disturbed look, she pushed him away. "Don't say that. Ever. We'll find a way. Not just you, not just me; both of us. You got that?"
He nodded slowly, assessing the whole situation. He grasped her hand gingerly as they headed back to his car. If both stayed any longer, they'd somehow get caught by the police once again.
Minhee giggled as they walked through a dim alleyway. "This reminds me of when we first met."
Jin glanced back at her curiously. "How so?"
"You know, me and you getting into trouble."
He scoffed, "More like, you getting into trouble and me having to save your sorry ."
She smiled, "It was never mandatory."
Jin shrugged playfully. "I thought saving a pretty face like yours would do me good in the future." He then planted a soft kiss on the hand he held, while gazing into her eyes. "Even so, I'm glad I did. You've done more than you know to me." He grinned at her playfully before reaching his car to drive back to their hangout.
