WINNER is YG Entertainment's newest boy group consisting of leader Seungyoon, vocalist Jinwoo, choreographer Seunghoon, rapper Mino and maknae Taehyun.
They were formally introduced through the reality YG show "WIN: Who is Next" where they won the opportunity to debut before Team B, another group under YG, and they had their own show entitled WINNER TV.
WINNER even garnered 8,000 fans in their Japan fanmeet alone - a incredible feat for a Korean group who was just introduced to the public. On November 16, 2013 WINNER opened up the concert of their seniors, Big Bang, and on February 2014, for 2NE1.
WINNER debuted on August 17, 2014 on Inkigayo with their title tracks Color Ring and Empty. WINNER became the fastest group to win #1 just five days after their stage debut.
