When the Sun Stole the Moon
Description
Jongdae wanted to burn the city, and nothing would stop him this time. He was going to do it.
Everything had a price after all. We paid ours. Now it's their turn.
The city wasn't a nice place. The city was a nice place. The city was what killed us. The city was what saved us. The city was the ruler and we couldn't change that. The city had existed for thousands of years, standing tall and proud in all of its ugly glory. And we were going to burn the city to the ground, we would destroy their pride. Destroy all their hope.
The large buildings, white, bright yellows and dull blues that covered the walls. The perfect people walking down the streets in their perfect clothing. All of it was going to be destroyed. The Capitol that ruled the city, the people in charge, those who ruined the world, just as we are going to do to them.
We were going to destroy it. Us, the Champions. Those abandoned by those very same people because we were different. And oh, how they would pay.
Foreword
Kind of the prequel to a story I'll be writing in the future. You won't have to read this and then read the other when it comes out, but it's here if you want to read it.
