Summary: Jiyoung is lured into gambling with a shopkeeper.

 

"Then we should play a game," he said. "How about this? If you win, I'll let you take the dog."

Ji-young began putting the pieces aside, ready to play. "Let's do it," she said.

He took a seat opposite to her. "But if you lose, you have to give me something."

gahh...too bad they're interrupted at the second round...would love to see how it'd turn out if they went on more rounds...okay it'd kinda obvious what would happen...but i'm still curious...XD
and i wonder what was the stake jiyoung agreed on during second round after the lock of hair...or what the shopkeeper would've asked from her. hahah.
Thanks for sharing this story...this is nice though if continued...it could go darker...since they didn't finished their game when the mother came.
