“So, team A will do routine patrol in district North and team B in district South. I’ll chose Taecyeon as team A leader and Donghae as team B leader. Anyone wants to protest?” Kangin asked, eyeing one by one of his colleague on detective section, no one seem want to protest his decision and he quite satisfied but one particular person obviously didn't give a damn about him as he busy daydreaming.

“Lee Donghae, can I get your attention please?” He asked, and being ignored, also the fact that Donghae sat at far end of meeting room didn't help at all.

“Lee Donghae!” He roared, fist slammed the table, finally getting Donghae’s attention.

“Y-Yes, Chief.” He stuttered. A bit afraid as he saw glint of anger inside Kangin’s eyes.

“I need to talk to you. The other can leave now.” Kangin instructed, in seconds the person whom left inside the room just him and Donghae.

“What the is wrong with you, Hae? You’re daydreaming too much these day. That will make you get your kicked out of the police squad because of unprofessional manner.”

“Sorry, hyung. I just too happy. I met Hyukjae.”

“Hyukjae? Your ex?” asked Kangin again. “But you say he hates you, so how in the earth you can feel happy when he practically only want to burry you alive after…uhm…what you did to him in the past.” Said Kangin carefully. He does understand how Donghae still regretting the thing he does in the past to Hyukjae.

Donghae smiled sadly, “I know hyung. That’s why now I’ll do anything to make Hyukjae forgiving me and let me pay everything I had done to him before and let him know that I still loves him. I still care about him.”

“You better serious this time around, Hae, whether in your job as police or in this love thingy. Don’t make me regretting my decision transferring you from Mokpo police station to this place. Understand?”

“Yes hyung.”

“Good. Remember, tonight your turn leads team B. Make sure you get some information about that gang. I swore to God they are like shadow, no one know where or when they’ll show up.” Said Kangin while put on his coat. “I’ll leave now. I had appointment with Leeteuk.”

“Enjoy your date Hyung.” Donghae grinned when his comment make Kangin’s face as red as boiled crab.

“It’s appointment. Not a date.” Kangin squawked.

“Whatever Hyung.”

Kyuhyun was playing absentmindedly with one small duck decoration statue on Leeteuk’s office while waiting his hyung. He just finished his usual weekly check up, and despite he knew the result, Kyuhyun never want to stop hoping. The door squeaked open and Leeteuk entering with same usual smile Kyuhyun had memorize long time ago. A regret smile.

“I know.” Kyuhyun beat it out first even before Leeteuk say anything. “Thank you for your hard work, hyung.”

“I…” Leeteuk sighed, “Maybe you tired to listen my apologize Kyuhyunnie, but I really mean it. Maybe you should find another doctor. I can recommend you to my friend. He’ll help you without expensive charge if that what hold you back for looking another doctor.” Leeteuk bit his lips after the last sentences, he saw Kyuhyun’s face darken, a sign he was feel offended, “I’m sorry Kyuhyunnie I don’t mean to offend you.”

“Did my payment too cheap hyung until you want to stop trying to cure me?” He asked sharply. Tears stinging in his eyes. The bad assumption of his hyung doesn’t want to help him and just consider himself as a nuisance make his heart's hurt.

“Oh, no. Not like that.” He walked closer to the younger and pulled him into his embrace, “I just want the best thing for you. Maybe I’m not good enough for you; maybe my friend will be better than me.”

“You had done the best, hyung. I bet the other doctor in Korea will have the same result.”

“Never stop hoping. Please, never stop hoping, Kyuhyun.”

Hyukjae very pissed right now, no, he was beyond pissed off. He only wants to strangle someone neck and that someone was definitely Donghae. The source of his anger was his meeting with one of his schoolmate and not to mention from dickhead jock gang that was set him up and make him as a victim of humiliating bet with Donghae as the main actor. He may be told Hyukjae to forget the past, because that was just joke and for fun and he also told him that Donghae never agree in the first place and he really care about him and not only because of bet, but the jock was fell in silence when Hyukjae asking, “If he really care about me, why he never thought it’ll hurt me in the first place?”

He walked in fast pace and almost collided with a man in suit. “Sorry.” He said before continued walking, he could see a pair of dimples on his cheek as he replying, “It’s okay.”

The night was slowly enveloping town as Hyukjae keep walking with tearful eyes, the unwanted flashback was replaying back in his mind.

He’s an ordinary student who loves dancing. A bit naïve, as he always think everyone nice. Only have few friends at college, so yeah, he’s a pretty simple guy. Until he meet Donghae. A nice guy and not to mention was quite popular. He’s the type of person you will call jock with brain as good as a genius, unlike typical jock that had their brain in their d*ck. Short story, two months after their first meeting, they officially together. Donghae was Hyukjae’s every first experience in term of love relationship. First love, first kiss and, until now he still couldn’t believe that he himself has guts to step that far, first partner in bed. And like usual storyline of cheap chick flick Hyukjae once watching on Raina’s notebook, he knew something that too good to happened, tend to crumble and hurt him in the end. A month later, after midterm exam, their relationship was burn into ashes. Hyukjae, heartbroken and angry took a decision that will making sure, the man named Donghae will never ever stay in same place and breathe the same air with him. Yet now, Donghae was stay in same city with him and teaching the same dance class with him.

He cursing his bad luck as he rethink the matter deeply. If only Mr. Ham willing to listens him and hire Zelo as new employee than to put advertisement, maybe he now was working happily with the younger than must be call a truce with Donghae, the person he had claimed as his enemy. He had been lost inside his own thought until he didn’t realize he crossed the road when the light for passerby was red. Loud honk and blinding light was able to break his train of thought but Hyukjae’s body too stiff for moving and save himself as he stood in the middle of road. He staring at the car with wide eye, unmoving and scared. The next thing happened was someone pushed his body avoiding the car, both of them fell down to dirty road with Hyukjae safe inside his savior arms. His heart beating hard, his brain still couldn’t work properly.

“Are you okay?” His savior was asking him. His voice was full of concern and was similar with him and when Hyukjae lift up his face, he knew the owner of that voice.

“Y-You.”
