Chapter 1 of the "Hipster Taste" series!

I've written a number of one-shots about Kyungsoo and this nameless OC, and I kind of regret posting them as separate stories instead of putting them together as chapters under just one story. Here's my attempt to remedy that - by posting links to all of the related stories in this series, in chronological order. If you haven't yet, hope you can also check the other stories out, and let me know what you think! :)

Foreword

In which Kyungsoo is in love with and overly possessive of a girl with hipster tendencies.

I wrote this because (1) my friends have this theory that Kyungsoo would probably be an overly possessive, jealous boyfriend, and the idea wouldn't let me sleep until I wrote it out of my system; (2) the easiest way to make me fall for a guy is with his impeccable taste in music (holler if you're the same way!); and (3) I believe in this completely unrealistic notion that shared musical preferences for obscure songs and artists can equate to instant chemistry between two people.

"Do I Wanna Know?" by Arctic Monkeys is featured in this oneshot. Listen to it if you haven't yet because it's a lovely, y song. :)

actually you can see kyungsoo look so introvert..quiet and like he doesn;t care with world..but deep inside..he did said before that he is a jealous type.. during Pure Love interview..

Chapter 1: OMG! I'm such a mooshy mess! I've never considered myself hipster, but many people that know me or meet me for the first time think I am... so I want to try to look at myself from other peoples perspectives, but I can't help but feel like all I'll see is some, weird girl, with a very eclectic taste in music, and other things in general. I mean I'm not shy about meeting people and I befriend easily, I'm just one of the guys, and I love sport talk and fandom talk *i support and follow many, don't ask haha*, and intelectual smarty smart topics *LOL*, and am so boyish, but also super girly at times... I mean, I'm so many things, that I just annoy myself with.. myself *facepalm*

Oh gods, I went off topic... again. What I wanted to say, is that, I can relate to the OC on almost all levels. I'm very free spirited. I can very well picture Kyungsoo being overprotective of the people he cares about, especially if it's his girlfriend, but I feel like he needs to have more confidence in himself that the strong feelings she has for him are sincere. I adore Soosoo, he truly is squeeshy, I think I would love to hug him all day.

The last bit with Kris' thoughts was lovely, he's man enough to acknowledge that Kyungie is lucky to have met her, and, I'm guessing he envies what his dongsaeng has with her, and wishes to have something like that with someone special to him. That little "what if", hinted in his thoughts made me think that, even though he isn't in love with the girl, he's attracted to her personality and way of being, and he'd wish to have someone like her by his side, and I'm pretty sure if Kris had met her first and not Kyungsoo, and she'd fallen for him, he'd act the exact same way Kyungsoo was acting around him; at least I think he would.

Anyhow, great story, once again ;)

I can't wait to comment on your other stories, but I'll leave that for another day. I sincerely hope you continue writing the way you do, because it's just beautiful.
