How to bring back dead to life?

                               That was a question that has been bothering Lee Eunhae since that day. It started in one night, when she was waiting for her dad in the hospital. Her dad was mumbling in his sleep, a line of tear cascaded from his closed eyes, and he said it. That name.

‘Eunhyuk…’

                               Who is Eunhyuk? Why did her dad mentioned him while he was in pain in the hospital? How special was this Eunhyuk until his dad remembered him even when he’s unconscious? And so Eunhae asked her grandmother about that, and never did she know she would find out something surprising about her dad that day.

“…if only we know the consequences of parting them… if only we know. Now, no matter how bad we regret it, there’s nothing we can do. Eunhyuk is dead, and your father was left in grief. There’s nothing we can do…” her grandmother told her in her cries.

“What are we waiting for, dad?” little Eunhae asked while swinging his legs back and forth on the bench. The railway station was packed with people minding their own way, dragging heavy stuff along. She looked at her dad. That guy looked at somewhere far from there, his eyes reflecting something that Eunhae wasn’t sure about. Then, he sighed and forced a smile.

“I’m waiting for a promise. Back then, destiny had promised me something. But they failed to grant it. I still wanted to believe in destiny, so I will wait no matter what…”

                               Now Eunhae understand what her father mean by saying that few years ago. Now she understands those sad smiles her dad gave her every time she asked him about his love life. Now she understands those tears her dad tried to hide from her. Now she understands everything.

“Dad, I don’t know how to fix this up. I don’t know how to turn the time. I don’t know how to bring back dead to life. But I know, by bringing Eunhyuk back to you, you would smile again, you would be happy and healthy again, and you can stop waiting. Dad, I don’t how, but I swear, I swear on your name, I will make you smile again! I will fulfill those promises destiny had left you! And I will bring him back to you...”
