“Hey.” Junhyung said to his phone.

He could almost see Jinah smile from the other line.

“I was calling you.”

“I know, but I was at recording, how are you?”

“Alive, I have exams next week, oppa.”

“You’ll do well, you always do.”

“Are you okay, oppa? You sound tired.”

“A little, I was worried. Is it true you moved out from your house?”

“I did, I live with Myungsoo now.”

“Really?” Junhyung’s brows rose.

“It’s funny, he has girls coming over.”

Junhyung smiled, there was something so endearing the way Jinah said it so flatly.

“Can I see you tomorrow?”

“I’m free.”

“I’ll pick you up, take care Jinnie.”

Jinah stepped in the house around five in the afternoon, she found Myungsoo in the living room watching the news.

“Have you eaten?” He asked.

“No.” She replied.

“I asked the help to leave early to rest.” Myungsoo stated, Jinah nodded then she took out her phone and started to dial.

“What are you doing?”

“Ordering food.”

Myungsoo stood up and pushed her phone down.

“You don’t cook?” He asked, Jinah looked almost sheepish. He chuckled and stepped towards her, then he bent down to meet her eyes.

“I married someone who doesn’t know how to cook.”

“I married a playboy.” She replied evenly, Myungsoo smiled and stood up.

“Bull’s eye.” He mused before walking towards the kitchen.

Jinah leaned on the counter as Myungsoo cooked.

“I might melt, Mrs. Kim.” He mused, Jinah ignored his statement as she continued to stare at the vegetables on the pan.

“What are you making?” She asked.

“It’s a surprise, by the way, I~”

The doorbell suddenly rang.

“I’ll get it.” Jinah said.

“Uhmm. I’ll go call him.” Jinah said to the girl who was glaring at her. She walked towards the kitchen.

“It’s for you. Hurry!” She said, Myungsoo blinked and followed her

SLAP!

Jinah blinked as the girl dressed in a mini skirt and a sweater slapped Myungsoo.

“How could you do this to me, oppa?!”

Myungsoo remained quiet.

“I heard from Inhee, you got together with Minji!”

“So, what are you going to do about it?” Myungsoo smiled.

“You told me you loved me!”

“That was three days ago, you’re expired now.”

Jinah’s lips pursed as she watched the girl leave while crying, Myungsoo turned to her.

“Dinner?”

“What did you mean by expired?”

“It’s the fourth day today, to women~”

“I get it.” Jinah nodded as she swallowed the soup on her spoon.

“Somehow, you’re not giving me this whole respect women talk.”

“Friends don’t nag at their friends.” She replied, Myungsoo smiled.

“Can I ask you something, Jinah?” Myungsoo put down his glass, Jinah nodded.

“When did you start seeing Junhyung?”

“Two years ago.”

“How…did you meet?”

“It was at a friend’s party. Can I ask you something?”

“Fire away.”

“People are asking me, when they ask me why we got married, what should I reply?”

“Anything but arranged marriage.”

Jinah nodded and she yawned slightly.

“Go to sleep, Jinah.” He chuckled, Jinah shook her head.

“Then, thanks for the food. It was good.” She said as she stood up, Myungsoo gave her a nod.

Jinah made her way to her room.

Jinah was seated on her desk while checking her notes, then she heard a low rumble coming from their curb, she glanced at the window just in time to see Myungsoo’s car driving away from the gates.

She glanced at the clock, it was already eleven in the evening.

“He must be off to meet his new girl.” She nodded to herself, Jinah picked up her pen.

Then her phone started to ring.

“Yes?”

“Is this Miss Jinah?”

“Yes….who..?”

“I’m a nurse at Byeongjin Hospital, Mister Shim Changmin was rushed here~”

Jinah dropped her phone and immediately dashed out of the house.
