I saw her. 

But with someone else.

Not me.

It was her ex.

She was smiling and laughing.

Just like she used to with me.

Blushing with her head down in shyness.

She was with someone else.

And I was here by myself.

I dropped the two ice creams I had bought for us.

Drowned in emotions of disbelief and betrayal.

There was no more trust. 

I looked at her.

She was happy. 

But not with me.

They exchanged phone numbers.

I took out the cellphone she had bought me.

I opened it.

Smiling.

Exactly how she is right now.

Maybe even brighter.

I guess it wasn't meant to be.

She had fallen for him again.

I took off our couple ring.

Placed it in my hand with my phone.

I slowly pace myself towards her.

Each step was heavy.

Each were filled with pain.

I stopped in front of them.

I showed a smile.

A fake one.

She looked surprised. 

 

"Is he your boyfriend Taeyeon? I thought you told me you weren't seeing anyone at the moment." He said with a confused face.

 

She lied.

"Yeah I guess she is. I'm just a classmate." I softly answered him trying not to show how hurt I was.

 

Taeyeon looked over to me with a shocked expression.

 

"I was just returning some stuff she leant me."

 

I gently take her arm.

Open her delicate hand and place the remaining things that once labelled us together. 

I smile to her.

I walk closer to her.

And whisper.

 

"Thanks... For the memories... And good luck."

 

I begin to walk off.

And continue walking until I was out of their vision.

I felt a tear slide down my face. 

More tears followed.

My body became weak.

I dropped to the floor onto my knees.

It hurt.
