“Yuri, Jiyong! Are you done?” Mrs. Kwon shouted from outside their room.

“No! Not yet! Oppa, ppali~wa!” Yuri shouted.

Both of them went out of the room and stood in front of their mother.

“How long are you guys going to be like this, huh?” Mrs. Kwon asked as she put her hands on her hips.

“Until the ghost is gone?” Jiyong said.

“Pabo!” Mrs. Kwon said as she hit Jiyong and Yuri’s head with the newspaper she held.

“Go down and have your breakfast!” Mrs. Kwon said strictly.

The both of them nodded. When they reached the kitchen, they quickly took a sip of hot coffee and quickly went out.

 

-On their way to school-

“Hey, Jiyong!” A familiar voice called out.

“Oh… Youngbae hyeong…” Jiyong said.

“You never changed. That illness is very disturbing. Now, I can’t see the smile you gave to me everyday.” Youngbae said then pouted.

“…” Jiyong kept quiet.

Jiyong and Yuri were once normal and happy twins but, right after they got this unknown illness, they always look gloomy.

Yuri’s phone rang in her pocket.

“Yobosaeyo?” Yuri said.

“Eonni! Have you arrived at school?” Seohyun asked.

“I haven’t arrived yet, wae?” Yuri asked.

“I miss you so much. You should know that.” Seohyun said in a cute voice.

“I know that.” Yuri answered as she rolled her eyes.

“I hate your tone. Why is it always the same?” Seohyun asked.

“Are you asking me?” Yuri said in an unsatisfied voice.

“Mianhae… I didn’t mean to be rude.” Seohyun said in a sorry tone.

“Gwenchana… I need to talk to Taeyeon eonni.” Yuri said.

“Neh…” Seohyun said.

“Yuri~ah… Where are you?” Taeyeon asked.

“I’m on my way to school. It’s only a few meters away, I’ll arrive soon.”

“Your class is going to do the cleaning duty around the school today.” The discipline teacher said.

“I hate going around the school, collecting garbage!” Tiffany complained.

“Jiyong, you’re going to clean the hallway at level 3.” The senior said.

“You’re guys can’t do your duty if you stick together like this!” The female senior said as she tried to separate Jiyong and Yuri.

 

-Girls’ toilet-

“This job stinks!” Hyoyeon complained.

“Yah, Yuri! Why are you looking so pale?” Victoria asked.

“That… that thing is staring at me…” Yuri stuttered.

“What thing?” Dara asked.

The female spirit started to chase Yuri.

“Ahh!!! Go away!!” Yuri said as she ran.

“What the hell is wrong with her?” Victoria asked.

Dara and Hyoyeon shrugged.

 

-The hallway at level 3-

“Urgh… She’s so heavy.” Jiyong said.

“What? Who’s heavy?” Taecyeon asked.

Suddenly, the boys heard Yuri shouted Jiyong’s name.

“Jiyong oppa!! She is chasing me!!” Yuri said as she ran up the stairs.

Jiyong threw the broom aside and ran towards Yuri. Yuri held Jiyong’s hand, feeling exhausted.

“It’s gone…” Both of them said then sighed.

 

-In class-

“Miss and Mr. Kwon. Can the both of you sit further away?” Mr. Lee commanded.

“No we can’t, Mr. Lee…” Yuri said.

“The ghost will chase us.” Jiyong continued.

“There is no such thing as spirits and ghosts.” Mr. Lee said as he put his hands on his hips.

“There is…” Sunny said.

The students in the class turned to look at her.

“Miss Lee Soon Kyu… I know you love to talk to ghosts and stuff like that, but please stop this nonsense in my class!” Mr. Lee said, raising his voice.

Taeyeon and Sooyoung rolled their eyes.

 

-Break time-

“Is it true, the both of you can see ghosts when you’re not together?” Sunny asked curiously.

“It’s true.” Jiyong answered.

“Can you call ghosts and communicate with them?” Sunny asked.

“I don’t like your questions…” Yuri said as she continued to chew on her sandwich.

“People think I’m crazy, but I really can talk to ghosts. Maybe you would join in with me?” Sunny said then smiled.

“Not interested.” Jiyong and Yuri said at the same time.

“Fine…” Sunny said then walk away.

“Yuri~ah… What kind of ghost that chased you just now? Is it old or young?” Daesung asked.

“It’s… in the middle of 30’s. Her leg is bleeding badly.” Yuri said.

“Shut up. It’s creepy…” Seungri said as he rubbed his arms.

“Oppa… What did you see, just now?” Yuri asked Jiyong.

“A kid… with short hair. She wants a piggy back ride.” Jiyong said as he ate his rice.

“So… you gave her the piggy back ride?” Yuri asked.

“Yes. She threatens to scare me if I didn’t give her the piggy back ride.” Jiyong said.

“Interesting…” Yuri said then nodded.

Suddenly, Taeyeon went towards Yuri then sat next to her.

“Hey~” Taeyeon said then smiled.

“Oh, Taeyeon eonni… I almost forget about you.” Yuri said then turned towards Taeyeon.

“Do you give Jiyong the cake that I gave him on Christmas Day? I made it myself.” Taeyeon said then blushed.

“He doesn’t like chocolate flavour. Dami eonni and I ate all of it.” Yuri said.

“Jinja? Hrmm… I should make a vanilla flavour cake.” Taeyeon said then went away.

“Oppa…” Yuri said as she pulled Jiyong’s uniform.

“Mm?” Jiyong said as he lifted his eyebrow.

“Do you like Taeyeon eonni?” Yuri asked.

“Don’t ask…” Jiyong said as he finished his ice-cream.

“Oh… Why didn’t you confessed to her?” Yuri asked.

“She’ll think I’m a weirdo…” Jiyong said as he folded his arms.

“O… Kay.” Yuri said.
