the author's note~

this story is actually 3 parts into one... so a threeshot. i finished the intro for them, and only 1 of 3. i started the 2nd one, but... got derailed and never really went back to it.s

so now, i'm trying to get things done and what not. lol i wrote this back in 2011, but yeah... it's incomplete. i wrote it for a friend, somewhat, because she loved underrated artists. and it was because of her that i got to learn about other korean music beside just the POP and mainstream one.

anyways... it was more of a winter thing that i wanted to complete, but never got around to it... i wonder if i can now?

well Chunglim went for mandatory duties. Dia came back for a short while and disappear again. AJOO and Yumi have... been M.I.A for a long time, so dunno. T^T

As I was lying in bed, I thought about the masquerade party that Yumi had invited me to, again. This masquerade party, the one that would be the best winter party ever and the most fantastic one then how the last one turned out to be. Her words, not mine. She said I should go; I should have a good time, and just forget about the previous year’s event. It’s not her fault for not knowing since I’ve never told her the reason why. She’ll even drag me too, if I don’t decide to attend, no matter what, but in all honesty, I don’t really want to go at all, not after seeing what happened last year. The previous masquerade party that I thought was the perfect one, my special night. Not something like a fairytale, but at the end of the night, it was just like a fairytale after all. I closed my eyes, and my side to turn the memories away.


Sorting through my mail, I came across a red envelop. I slit it opened and pulled out an invitation card for a masquerade party. As I read the card, I realize that it was being held at the same place, at the same time, and by the same host, my best bud, Ajoo, who threw one just like it last year. I wonder if that Dia girl will attend this one, too, unless she wasn’t invited or if she’ll go by another name again this time around. I wish she told me her name. I wish that I didn’t let her slip through my fingers. I just wish for her to make me feel warm inside once again, even just for another second.


They met once before, but will they meet each other again? Although identities were mistaken, chances weren’t taken, and the memories weren’t forgotten, could these two find the connection to one another with that very, thin, red thread of fate they had before?
