Krystal's known one life, and one life only.
She doesn't care for the people in her unit. She doesn't care for the people who took her in when no one else would.
Krystal only cares about the missions that she receives in manila envelopes that smell of nothing but the wondrous scent of blood.
Foreword
excerpt:
"Osprey, do you copy? Send word when you're ready."
The young woman huffs in annoyance, turning her glare to the hidden chip at the collar of her shirt. "Of course I'm ready, you ."
She hears a frustrated groan, "Ambulances smell like alcohol. The bad kind of alcohol. And the higher ups are in a rush today. Finish this quickly so we can dispose of the body."
Krystal doesn't need to be told twice.
Without another moment's hesitation, she pulls the gun from it's holster on her inner thigh, makes sure that the silencer is on securely, and fires a shot directly through the injured individual's head.
"It's time to fly, Sparrow."
