polkᴀ is a five-member girl group formed in 2009 by Starship Entertainment. The group debuted on June 18, 2009 with it's first digital single, "Sparkling Eyes" and was the first idol group formed under the company. They are one of the well-known girl groups in South Korea, maintaining their popularity as the well-diverse girl group with best teamwork.The members are not only musically talented, but they also partake in other activities such as acting, emceeing, modeling, CF endorsing, participating in variety shows as well as other solo activities/debuts. They were nominated Best Newcomer in 2009, followed by numerous awards in later years.

In December 2012, seven months before they mark their 4-year anniversary, Starship Ent. announced that polkᴀ's lead vocalist Nara (birthname Park Daehee, age 20) will leave the group due to her decision to continue her studies overseas. It was followed by another announcement in June 2013 that polkᴀ will make a comeback in early September 2013, along with two new members. One of the two members are said to be freshly debuted while the other was a former solo artist from another company.

1- please subscribe if you're applying. doesn't matter if it's before or after. 2- no bashing other applicants, please. you can bash me if you want, but... eh. 3- the leader and maknae will be determined later. the leader doesn't have to be the eldest but not the youngest. the maknae is the youngest ofc. 4- face claims can be ulzzangs and models only. but if your character is non-korean/mixed ethnicity, you're allowed to use non-korean celebs. 5- no masterlist. you can choose anyone from the k-entertainment industry or even ocs. 6- password will be on the guidelines later. 7- read the guidelines carefully, and all is well. 8- deadline will be on the 23rd of September 2013. 9- please comment 1-2 chapters if you're chosen. so, you know, you don't end up like Nara HAHA /bricked but, yea, seriously.
