~Flashback~

“Bin-ah! You should listen to this song!!” Seul-Gi told you. Seul-Gi was your colleague at college. You both were majoring in communication. She thought she guys were best friends, but you disagreed. Seul-gi was nice, but you didn’t consider her your friend. You saw past her fake, innocent image. She was using you to finish all her projects and help her cheat on tests. That was the only reason why she stuck on you like gum; because she needed to pass the class. Whenever she came near you, you would your shoulder so that she couldn’t lay her head on your shoulder.

“What song is it?”

“It’s called ‘Rain Sound’ from some Korean group…I forgot their name…”

You grabbed a side of her earphones and listened to the song. It was nice. Even though you knew it was a sad song, it was nice to listen to. You quickly memorized the chorus and lip-synched the song.

“So do you like it?”

You nodded and kept working on your essay for class.

“Bin-ah…I was wondering, but…do you mind working with my for the upcoming project? I don’t know anyone else in the class besides you and…the professor adores you so…maybe—“

“I’m tired of your bull.”

Seul-gi looked at you, shocked.

“Excuse me? What did I ever do to you—“

“I know you’re not really friends with me. You’re just using me as your helper. Listen, I understand that you want to pass this class, but you can’t pass this class with just me. What are you going to do when you graduate and get a real job? I’m not going to be there for you to cheat off of. I never told you this, but I find it obnoxious how you keep asking for help. I’m sorry, but look for a different partner.”

Like that you left. She saw Seul-gi’s face and it was priceless. Her expression looked like she couldn’t believe what you just said. As you walked away, you felt someone glare at you. You looked back to see Seul-gi throw her fist onto the table and shoot lasers from her eyes. You were a bit scared, but you felt relieved.

Two years have passed and you were a junior in college. After you received the call that you were accepted into Mnet America, you were a part-time student at college. You felt bad, but at least you got a real job.

You got dressed in your best clothing and walked out of your house. You grabbed a cab to your office. As soon as you step out, you take a deep breath and put on a smile. You were excited to actually work at your dream job. Your steps were light until you saw a familiar figure in front of you.

“No way…Bin-ah! Snap out of it!”

You kept walking and realized that the girl in front of you was going the same way as you. You kept scratching the back of your head and tilted your head because you knew her, but you weren’t sure. The two of you finally reached the elevator and she turned around. Before you got on you saw her face.

“What the f---“

It was Seul-gi. From the back she looked the same, but when you saw her face she looked….hmmmm…plastic? You couldn’t really tell, but she had a mask on with sunglasses. It looked like she was trying to hide something.

“Oh my gosh! Bin-ah! Long time no see. How’ve you been?” she said as she gestured you into the elevator.

You were speechless.

“Wow…umm…Seul-gi…you look…um—“

“Prettier? I know~ I got some stuff done, but it was worth it.” She said as she smiled. She took off her sunglasses and you saw how swelled up her eyes were.

You sighed out and pressed the elevator button for your floor.

“Wow I didn’t know you worked here! Where do you work?”

“Mnet America…you?”

“Shut up! Me too!!! Oh my gosh, that is so funny!”

You wanted to slap yourself so badly. You couldn’t tell if you were dreaming or not. You were in despair as the elevator doors closed.

It was awkward in the elevator. You kept touching your bag and stared blankly at your phone.

“Ugh, why does the office have to be on the top floor? So awkward…why does she have to work here? Why??” you thought.

The elevator arrived at your floor. You quickly waved and stepped out of the elevator until you felt someone tug on your blazer.

“Why are you saying bye? We’re going the same way silly!” she said as she locked arms with you and walked into the office.

She smiled brightly, but you didn’t. You wanted to, but you couldn’t. Seul-gi was pissing you off. The way she smiled and tried to act cute towards the sunbae’s always disgusted you. You hated aegyo. Especially if rude, selfish people like her use it.

You worked with Seul-gi for a good 2 months until she quit.

“It’s okay guys! Don’t be sad that I’m not going to be here! I’ll still be working in the entertainment business…where it’s so much better than this crappy place. I mean MTVK!!! You have to be kidding me! This is such a blessing and I deserved this!”

You glared at her because she was saying non-sense. You face-palmed yourself and kept quiet. She hugged everyone except you and was on her way.

After she left the office, all of your colleagues were partying.

“So glad that is gone! No one liked her!”

“I know right? I mean who does she think she is?”

“This office is crappy? I heard the office for MTVK is next to a junkyard. BS!”

You couldn’t help but laugh at their behavior. Seul-gi just left, yet they were happy. They looked sad when she was here, but as soon as she leaves, everyone parties.

~End of flashback~

When you felt someone hug you from behind, ‘Rain Sound’ came into your head. You remembered your past, working with Seul-gi. Even though you didn’t like her, the song she showed you stayed with you for a long time. That was one thing you were thankful for from her. His embrace was very familiar to you and you couldn’t help but smile.

“What are you doing here?”

“My Bin-ah…. I’m very, very sorry.”

“Why are you sorry? You didn’t do anything wrong. It was all mom’s fault…”

He moved your loose hair behind your ear.

“I never wanted to hurt you princess. I was…I was just depressed about what happened and nothing went as I planned…”

“I’m sorry for yelling at you when I was younger. I know that you fought with mom because…she had another man, but—“

You started to get teary. You felt your father’s cold hands hold onto you.

“It’s okay sweetie…daddy’s here, daddy’s here…” you started sobbing in his arms. Even though he wasn’t there with you, it felt like he was. You felt his warm embrace. Even though his hands were cold, but felt warmth when your father hugged you.

“I saw you crying when you got the phone call that I committed suicide. I didn’t think you were even going to care about me.”

“How could I not? Even though you did hit me occasionally, you’re still my dad. I don’t only remember the bag things in my life. I remember the good things as well. I remember when I was in pre-k you would always come to pick me up whenever it rained. Even if it was drizzling you would always bring the purple umbrella with you and carry me in your arms. Also! We would always bake on the weekends! I remember grandma told us that we were both goof balls, but we didn’t care. We just baked all day from dawn to midnight. I still remember those times…” you said as you felt nostalgic.

You felt your father grab onto your hands. You look around the garden to see if anyone was there, but the garden was empty. It was only you and your father.

“Bin-ah…I’ve never told you this but…I hope you can find happiness soon. I’m sorry for giving you such a bad scar on your head. I never meant to do such a draconic thing to you. Please forgive me.”

You wiped the tear from your father’s cheek.

“I guess ghosts can cry too,” you said as you smiled. He grabbed onto your hand and kissed the back of it.

“I’ll always love you Bin-ah. Never forget that.” You saw him fade away. Tears started to fall from your eyes.

“Of course I’ll never forget you…I love you…daddy…”

You wiped your tears and got up from the bench. You took a deep breath and turned around to see a tall guy stand in front of you.

“Sorry.” You said as you tried to walk past him, but he grabbed onto your wrist.

“Excuse me—“ you looked up and saw Zelo.

“W-w-where have you been? I’ve been worried sick!” you say as you lightly punch his chest. He looks at you with sad eyes.

“I didn’t go anywhere. I was watching you from your door…just on the outside. Where would I go?” he said as he pulled you in for a hug. You felt his warm embrace. Then you hear a whisper,

“Bin-ah I almost forgot…beware of boys! They’re all wolves! Except for this one…I like him…” you heard your dad say. You smiled and dug your face into Zelo’s shirt.

“I missed you. Don’t you ever leave like that again!” you said as you release the hug.

He kissed your forehead and smiled at you.

“I’ll never leave your side again. Sorry…” he said as he scratched the back of his head.

You smiled and pulled him in for a kiss. It was so passionate and filled with love. You missed Zelo’s long arms around your waist whenever you kissed him. The wind was blowing slowly and you felt your hair fall onto your face. You had no other choice but to break the kiss.

“…Dad…” you mumbled.

“Huh? Dad? Did you have another nightmare?”

You shook your head and tied your hair back.

“Now…where were we?” you said as your pulled him in for another kiss.

i just started school and all this crap...since i'm a senior i have to write college applications and stuff. yea, but WEEEEEE!!!!!
