Don't sigh.

Body language

Sigh. The dark haired moved in slow heavy steps as she tried to find the exit to the building. All the hallways seemed to look exactly the same and the young woman obviously didn't know which way to go. She mentally noted to find a lift or staircase first, since she knew that she was on the third or second floor. After spending minutes of looking around, she failed to find what she was looking for. Instead she felt trapped in the maze of halls in the building. Baeri's hand moved to the pocket of her coat and she fished out her phone. She stared at the screen for a moment too see what time it was. Her eyes widened slightly at the realisation that it was almost 6 pm. Had she spent that much time with Gikwang already? It hadn't felt that long.

But when she thought about it, time seemed to pass by very quickly whenever she was with Gikwang. They were always in their own world, ignoring their surroundings, but aware of each others presences. To Baeri their world didn't seem complete without him beside her and she was only able to 'go' there when they went together. Their unnamed little world. Although she didn't know if Gikwang had the same opinion about it, she knew the two of them were aware about that little world. Back to Baeri.

The dark haired stuffed her phone back into her pocket with a sigh and glanced around the hallway again.

"You shouldn't sigh. It brings bad luck." She heard a male voice say.

Baeri flinched at the voice and immediately turned around only to be met with someone's chest. She raised her head and was now looking at an unfamiliar dark haired figure. He had sharp features and eyes that reminded you of a fox. His dark bangs were long enough to cover his eyes completely when not swept to the side. Wait no... he was familiar, but she didn't know where she had seen this kid. She saw the taller boy smile and could guess that he was younger by a few years. The boy's eyes twinkled brightly as they narrowed when he smiled down at the female.

"Excuse me?" She mumbled.

"Are you lost, miss?" He asked her catching the girl off guard. Was she that obvious?

The boy was met with an embarassed grin, catching him by surprise this time. "I guess. Can you tell me how to exit the building?" She asked.

"Sure." She heard him muse gleefully.

He walked around her and when he stood beside her, his hand lifted to point into the direction she was looking at moments ago. "That's the way to the lift."

Baeri had followed his gaze and movements when she stared into the hallway. They took a left turn and saw a man walk beside him. Politely the male beside her greeted with a bow and his signature smile. Baeri followed his movements. They rarely saw someone walk passed them when they finally found the lift after a few more turns. Once inside the empty lift, the young woman let out another sigh.

"Ah. There it is again." She heard.

Tilting her head slightly and with a slight frown she cast her dark eyes on the figure beside her who was gazing at the elevator doors. Suddenly his head turned as he returned her look with a slightly troubled expression almost pouting.

"The sigh." He elaborated as if he could see questionmarks float around her.

Baeri blinked and brought her hand up to cover as she realised it. A small smile broke into her expression.

"It brings bad luck." She quoted him. "I'll keep it in mind."

A content smile on the boys lips, made the corners of her own mouth twitch up, untill she returned the smile. Silly. That was how she would describe him. Cute and silly.

Once the elevator doors opened, the exist was in sight. Baeri's shoulders dropped in relief as she started to walk towards the exit followed by the young man. To her surprise she also saw a red haired figure standing in front of the door, running a hand through his hair in annoyance. His other hand was occupied with a phone and he was furiously tapping on the screen. When realisation struck her, Baeri took the phone out of her pocket and stared at the screen. Three unread messages.

'Ya Banolim, you think you can leave just like that?'

The girl frowned slightly as she scrolled down a bit.

'Do you even know where the exit is pabo?'

Her fingers slided upwards her screen to scroll down again.

'Ya. Answer me.'

Baeri's eyes rose from her phone to the red haired figure. She arched an eyebrow as she watched him walk outside the building. That was when her phone's screen lit up again.

'Kim Baeri, where did you go?!'

Baeri waited for a moment and she had stopped walking. The boy who was walking ahead of her only noticed after a few steps that she had stopped. Once he noticed he stopped as well to turn around. That was when she saw the red haired male walk back into the building through the doors. Their eyes locked and both's eyes narrowed at the same time at each other.

The dark haired boy noticed and turned around to see what Baeri was gazing at that intensly. He spotted Gikwang.

"Oh hyung. You returned?" The boy gleefully greeted the elder male.

He recieved a questioning and slightly surprised look in return from the elder but shorter male.

"Oh Sungjae. Yeah. Quite a while ago actually. What're you doing?" He asked as he looked in between his friend and his junior.

"This noona got lost, so I helped out." He responded, still smiling.

"Good job. I had business with this lady." Was Gikwang's response earning a confused look from Sungjae.

"Wait wait..." Baeri suddenly uttered totally ignoring the situation in front of her. "BTOB's Sungjae?"

The girl slapped her forehead lightly in realisation. "So that's why you were familiar."

Both Gikwang and Sungjae were taken aback at her sudden response. Sungjae couldn't help but laugh lightly as Gikwang poked her forehead, pushing the girl two steps back.

"Ya! What was that for?"

"Banolim, you're really an idiot. How can you leave like that?" Gikwang raised his voice lightly, clearly in annoyance.

Baeri's response was a slap on his back, making the red haired step back and glare at her. Sungjae couldn't help but stare in bewilderment at this exchange. He let out a laugh before excusing himself.

"I'll be taking my leave then. I'm supposed to meet up with the others." He beamed. "Good luck Banolim-noona. Don't forget about what I told you."

"Uh... Okay. Thanks for the help." Baeri smiled back.

The boy flashed her a wink and bright twinkling smile before heading back to the elevator.

After Sungjae disappearing into the elevator, her attention was back to Gikwang. He stared back at her with his arms crossed over his chest.

"And?" He asked.

"Huh?"

"How about an explanation?"

Baeri's eyebrows curled up into a frown. "For what?"

Gikwang let out a sigh and uttered a slightly surprised groan when he felt a finger poking his forehead and pushing him backwards.

"Don't sigh. It brings bad luck." The girl mused with a smirk.
