“We um, we wanted to ask you... how are babies created...?" Daehyun asked. He remembered that Yongguk had told them to wait until they were older to ask when they had brought up the question before. But all three kids felt pretty entitled to the knowledge considering that Himchan was about to have their baby brother.

“You’re asking again?” Himchan tilted his head to the side in question.

“We want to know.” Daehyun said, speaking for all of them. Yongguk felt a lump form in his throat.

“Well okay. So, when a man’s—” Himchan began explaining casually before Yongguk suddenly cut him off.

“Someone eats a special berry and it grows in their stomach!” Yongguk said loudly. He couldn’t believe Himchan’s shamelessness sometimes, especially with the children. Daehyun frowned.

“What about ‘’? A kid at school told me that it has to do with ‘’. So what is ‘’ anyway?” Daehyun frowned in confusion. Yongguk mentally cringed every time he heard the six year old say ‘’.

“ is when—” Himchan began again, wanting to be able to finally explain a topic he was educated in.

“It’s just the name of the berry.” Yongguk interrupted again, only this time slapping Himchan’s shoulder. “Stop it Himchan,” he whispered to the younger, “they’re way too young.” Himchan just shrugged. The three young boys let out gasps and then little looks of understanding.

“Is the berry yucky?” Jongup asked Himchan.

“No, it’s really hard and—” Yongguk covered Himchan’s mouth with his hand. He felt Himchan grin underneath.

“Umma will tell you all about it when you guys are older...” Yongguk said nervously as he slowly pulled his hand from Himchan’s mouth. “Right now I want to show you guys a really awesome game, it’s a competitive game though, come with me to the bathroom.” Youngjae and Daehyun grinned at each other and followed Yongguk out of the room, leaving Jongup sitting next to Himchan, still curled to his side.
