I'd only heard or read things about how it felt to be in love. I didn't know what it felt like to be in love, considering no girl found me worth her time.

Love at first sight was even worse. How could you know you loved someone just by looking at them? Since reality wasn't a Lifetime movie, where everyone got what they wanted in the end, I thought the whole idea was lame in itself.

Yet seeing this beautiful girl, sitting all alone in a crowded park, reading caused me to change any thought I ever had about love.
