A One-Shot about Moving On...

I've always liked the Kikwang-Hyunseung ship, and although I love the romantic, ty and happy stories out there, I've always wanted to write something darker, something more painful and malign. Grief, Pain and Denial are key constructs in this short story, as I wanted to illustrate the darker side of relationship and suffering.

What happens when a loved one gets into an accident?

How do you cope with the consequences?

How do we 'move on' and continue our journey of life?

Do we really ever 'get over' the past and lost opportunities?

Although I started of with a short ficlet about Moving On from the past, I deviated towards much more depressing and darker concepts through illustrating more tainted, distorted scenes. Many of you will find this interesting, and I tried to make this story as realistic as possible. There are times in the story in which things may seem rather confounding and confusing, but please bear with me, as I tried to create a layered and tiered storyline that will (hopefully) maintain your interest. it moves rather slowly because its a story about recovery. My writing style is rather purple, as I focus less on Plot than on Description, and therefore there are times in which the story seems too heavy and not concentrated on the plot of the story enough. I've always been told by my English Teacher to use less layering and heavyness to my sentences, but I enjoy having deeper, more descriptive themes present in the story, and I hope you do to.

The one-shot itself, although being a one-shot, is pretty long (numbering 3,500 words half-way through) , and therefore I will be posting it in 2 or more sections. I hope you enjoy the story, although It is rather depressing.
