L gazed down at Seoyeon. She was still sleeping soundly. He could now see the light dark circles under her eyes.

He pushed her hair out of her face and leaned in to plant a soft kiss on her forehead. He pulled back and caressed her cheek with his thumb. “I’m sorry Seoyeon. I should have known better. I’m sorry.”

It was silent for a moment.

L couldn’t help but love Seoyeon even more. Now, he really wanted her to be happy. He wanted to give her the whole world. He didn’t want her to be in pain anymore. He wanted her to make new happy memories that will take away her bad memories.

“I’ll make you forget those memories. I’ll replace them with good memories from now on.” He planted another sweet kiss on her forehead.

Mr. Choi frowned seeing L pace back and forth, “Young master, I think you should sit. You’ve been pacing back and forth for nearly an hour and a half now.”

L shook his head, “I can’t. I need to find some information about this Jongjin guy. I need to know what he’s planning on doing next now that he’s back in Korea. I don’t want him messing with Seoyeon anymore, Mr. Choi. He has already caused her enough pain and I don’t want Seoyeon to endure anymore.”

Mr. Choi softened hearing L’s explanation. “You really care for Miss Seoyeon-ssi, don’t you?” L stopped and glanced at his butler with a smile. “I do. She’s the love of my life, so I need to do everything in my power to make sure that she’s not in harm’s way.” “Do you plan on marrying her, young master?” “Yes I do. I’m planning on marrying her, having kids- ah! Mr. Choi, don’t do this to me! I’m still thinking about what I’m going to do with this Jongjin guy.”

Mr. Choi chuckled and stepped back. “Then I’ll leave you to your thoughts, young master.” L nodded. Mr. Choi left the room.

L started to pace back and forth again. Then something came to mind. He grinned and walked over to his desk. He grabbed his phone and started to open a new message. “I’ll definitely be able to get something now.”

“Come in.” Seoyeon called softly.

Her bedroom door opened and stepped in L. Seoyeon’s eyes lit up seeing him, “Myungsoo oppa.” L chuckled and walked over to her. He sat on the edge of her bed. “Did you miss me that much?” Seoyeon scrunched up her face causing L to laugh.

“Well, I missed you.” L grabbed her hands. Seoyeon’s cheeks flushed pink as she pulled her hand away. “I get it.”

L chuckled and peered at her face. Seoyeon was still pale and there were still light dark bags under her eyes. He softened.

“How are you feeling?” He asked. Seoyeon looked at him and shrugged, “Okay.” “Did you already take your medicine?” Seoyeon nodded then tilted her head, “You’re skipping school today?”

L straightened up, “I wouldn’t say ‘skipping’, I’d say taking a break. School gives me a headache and I wouldn’t be able to concentrate if my beautiful girlfriend isn’t there.” He lightly tweaked her nose.

Seoyeon wrinkled her nose making L chuckle. He pulled her into a hug. Seoyeon was a little taken aback at the sudden hug.

“Myungsoo oppa,” She called gently. L tightened his arms around her and buried his face in her neck. “I’m sorry.” He mumbled against her neck.

Seoyeon frowned hearing him apologize. “Why are you apologizing? You didn’t do anything.”  “I heard from Doojoon hyung. I’m sorry.” L kissed her neck. Seoyeon’s face fell, “Oppa…told you?” L nodded.

“So, I guess…you pity me right now?” Seoyeon asked. L pulled away, cupping her cheeks. He looked deep into her eyes, “No. No, I’m not going to pity you. No.” Seoyeon swallowed and looked away, “Then what are you going to do? Mock me? Insult me?” “No, Seoyeon, I would never do that to you. I
