CHAPTER 6 : WORTH

“Are you sure you gonna do this?” She asking me again

“yeah, we’re screw if we not gonna do this” I’m preparing myself in the inside. It’s not easy to tell your girlfriend parents that their son it’s having your baby inside her belly

“they will kill you Kai… after that they kill me too” Dara try to make the situation even better with her lame joke. I love her lame joke hahaha

“if you die our baby is die moron!” I kiss her forehead while laughing

            I know it’s hard raising a child while you still stuck in highschool. My mom still doesn’t know that I have a child with Dara, She’s know that I’m dating Dara this whole time. So I’ll think she not too shock when I tell her that Dara is pregnant. But It’s different to Dara, her parents is so religious. What can she do about it? She make the biggest sins.

“Are you ready?” I ask her when we arrived in her house

“I’m ready if you’re ready baby” I kiss her lips, hold her hand and knock the front door

“woah uri Dara!” her mother hug her immediately when she open the door

“you must be Kai right?”

“Annyeonghaseyo Kim Kai imnida, bangapsumnida!” I bow 90⁰ to her, he bows back to me either

            We’re having such a lovely dinner this night. My mother cook a chicken spinach my favorite food. My daddy looks like in a good mood this night, I don’t know why he’s having that mood but I think this night me and Kai are gonna to ruin my daddy’s mood. Kai looks really nervous, I can see it because he sweating all over his tux. He look handsome on that tux, not only handsome.. he’s a really great guy. He take care of me all the time, how can I let him taking the responsibility for the thing that he didn’t do.  But It’s not my fault either, I can’t let my baby have suffer to have such a jerk daddy like Taeyang. I just… wanna believe in this guy infront of me this time, let him take care this time Dara. He is Kai, he can make you the happiest woman in the world, you just have to believe in him, like he said that.

“So Kai, what did you do?” my father ask him

“I am the quarterback at Sekai football team” he said nervously

“cool, the head cheerleader date a quarterback! Such a lovely couple!” my mom get the situation even worst

“look sir I’ve got something to tell you!” finally Kai raised his tone, I’ll hold his hands tighly. He give me that stares, the stares that make me believe in him this whole time.

“your daughter….”

“what’s with uri Dara?” my mother looks very confuse this time

“she is having my child…” suddenly my dad get up from his chair and punch him in the face. I help Kai to get up, I look at his face… it’s swelling.

“jwesonghamnida, but I take the responsibility.. I’m gonna raise the baby, graduate from highschool get the scholarship and find a nice job! Trust me!” he’s talking like a man

My mother is crying and my father was dying to silent. Suddenly my daddy walks towards me and said “who are you?” that’s three word make me want to kill myself right now. So I start to tearing and said “I’m Park Sandara… your daughter” suddenly he turn around and said “get out of my house” when Kai hear that, he’s going to front door but my dad hasn’t finish yet “both of you… get out of my house” and he kicking me out too.

“Sir! Your daughter has nothing to do with it. Please sir!” Kai beggin to my father but my father just walk away

            I take her and let her sleep in our house, I tell my mom everything and she did understand what is we going trought lately. Dara has been trough the most troubled things for her. She been suffering this whole time, she put her head into my shoulder and hold my hands.

“Are you okay?”  I check her condition

“I’m okay, I just want you to be here with me..” she put my hands on her belly. It’s weird but I think I can feel the baby kickin’

“can you feel that?” she said while giggling

“yeah.. it’s good”

            We’re going to school together this morning, and I guess the news about Dara’s pregnancy has been spread all over the school. It’s been hard for both of us since Dara has a pretty bloated belly lately. She got kicked out from her cheerleader squad and she is not very popular like before. I’m not dating her because she is popular or something, I just wanna be with her this time… I hope that Sulli thing don’t bother my head again.

“hey both of you!” Key call me and Dara in the auditorium

“We know that you suffer a lot lately..” said Hara

“so we sing you a song as a present” Taeyang continue

“We want you to know that we always be there for both of you” Sulli continue. I can see sadness in to her eyes
