               “Hey Seunghyunnie,” she smiled despite herself and the sick feeling in the pit of her stomach.  “I know you said you were busy but I was just missing you tonight,” she admitted, playing with a few strands of hair between the fingers of her free hand.

                “Neh,” he agreed quickly, though it sounded like he was trying to keep his voice low.  “Sorry about tonight, baby.  I just got called in for a last minute dinner meeting you know?” he chuckled, his tone relaying weary acceptance.

                “Right,” Chaerin agreed in a soft murmur, nodding to herself.  “So do you think you’ll be free afterwards?” she asked hopefully, beginning to pace with short, nervous steps.

                Seunghyun hissed between his teeth in response and groaned, “Not tonight, baby.  I think they want to go out for drinks afterwards.  It’s a tense meeting,” he admitted reluctantly.

                “I understand,” she murmured with a pout.  “Business comes first after all,” she forced a laugh, trying to keep the mood light.  Only recently had that become true and she definitely had her suspicions about what his business was now.

**Update 09/15/2016 - Due to my complete and utter lack of interest in actually continuing this fic, it is one of the few (currently the only one) that I will be discontinuing at this time.
