"Mommy? Why is daddy and big brother leaving?"

~16 years later~

"Bye Umma!" I called towards the kitchen as I left the house. Sammi, my dog, whined when I left. I'm heading to korea to live with my dad this summer(maybe even forever...). My parents split up when I was three years old. They always told me that it was because they didn't "share the love" they had when they got married. Since I'm an only child, Sammi is more help than either of my family members.

I arrived at the airport and waited for the flight attendants to call my plane number. I set my luggage down and looked around. I turned in a full circle and then my plane number was called. I left and lonliness followed.
