Someone Like You
Description
I was inspired to write this story after listening to Adele's song, Someone Like You. This song will appear sometime in this story, but I think it's worth listening to now! It's a beautiful song about trying to move on after an ended relationship, but still looking back at what you had in the past. This story reflects the ideas that are portrayed in this song so it will be a tearful romantic story. I hope you enjoy this story. Please leave a comment or just say hello to let me know that you were here! Thank you for your support!

Bad Romance by Trufloetry
Have you ever felt pain that resonates throughout your body?
No... not one that is caused by physical distress, but that of the heart.
Have you ever felt as if the weight of your heart has finally given into the demandsof gravity
and dropped to the pits of your stomach?
You know that ache that you feel as if someone was stabbing your heart when you're about to cry?
It really is your heart breaking if you take time to feel it...
First your throat tightens as if you're suffocating from the news that you are once again lonely in this world.
Then, you feel something grab your heart to get a better hold of it.
And your heart starts ripping into two, slowly, so that the pain threatens to make your life force cease to exist,
Slowly, to ensure that it will be difficult to recuperate,
Slowly, that when you try to move on you, tremble at the thought of being crushed again by love's amiguity.
By love's promise to keep you warm when all things are wrong.
Have you loved somebody so much it made you cry?
Brandy said it best when she sang me to sleep at night... or were those my tears that my face like a caring mother?
Or was that God that wanted to soothe my pain and lulled me to sleep like a worried Father?
I prayed God sometimes for my soul to keep,
So that my heart wouldn't break,
And so I wouldn't seem weak,
So that my tears wouldn't betray my poker face,
So that my trembling and angered voice wouldn't give away my stance
So that my heart won't show the scars of a bad romance.
