“Ji Hye” a soft voice whispered.

“Who are you?” she asked the tall dark shadow standing in the far corner of her room. “You fear me” the shadow spoke in a displeased tone. “Who are you? Did mother send you?” she asked frantically. If her mother did send this person then that meant she was to die tonight.

“Your mother and her kind believe that I am dead”.

“Well… Are you dead?” asked Ji Hye. Within a blink of an eye the shadow now stood next to Ji Hye by her bed side. Although the moon light illuminated the room, darkness followed the shadow everywher, as if it protected the figure from the unknown.

The tall dark shadow leans in closer and closer until it was inches away from Ji Hye. Ji Hye watched in fear as its hungry blood red eyes changed to a beautiful light brown shade.

 “I shall live as long as you are still breathing, my beautiful black pearl”.
