Yoona POV

I held the newspaper in my hand as I read the headline “Im Corporation to expand its wing through the states of America”

“Why, do rich people became richer and the poor became poorer” Life really is unfair, I put the newspaper and took my ragged jacket

“Umma I’m leaving now” I said as I said good bye to my foster mom she waved at me and smiled

Being raised by a mute woman and a blind man is hard I don’t know anything about my real family all I know is that they took me in when they saw me full of blood next to a burning car and next to two dead bodies they said it might be my parents

“Yoong you’re early today” my friend Taeyeon said

“Aren’t I always” she nodded

“Yeah you’re an early bird after all” she said as she took the newspaper

“Damn Im Corp. Again oh look Yoong you look like his grandchild” she said as she showed me the news paper

I read the title of the article and it’s said “Im Corp. only heir revealed to be a pretty girl”

“Ommo she does look like me” I said as I took the newspaper, how come I didn’t notice this earlier

“Ok enough with that let’s go work” Taeyeon said as she wears her apron and opened the cafe 

 “Yah Yoong after this do you want to eat out” Taeyeon said

“Sorry Unnie I have another part time job” I said and she snorted

“This busy hard working kid” she said as she tip toed to ruffle my hair

“I got to work twice as hard to have food in our mouth” I said as I laugh at her

Another busy day for me, I need to work harder for me and mom

‘Yoona fighting! You’re not an ordinary Busan girl’ i said to myself as I started to work

 

A Life full of hardships that’s the life I’ve known, working twice to have food on our table it is hard but it least we’re happy I know Dad is watching us in heaven me and Mom, I know he’s protecting us

I took last glance on the newspaper; I wonder how it feels to be in those luxurious clothes the spot light I wonder how it feels like to be Im Krystal

 

 

KRYSTAL’S POV

I watched the news this is really the life I’m used to, my face is all over the tabloids, news and even the internet

Being raised as the only Heir of the biggest company in Korea is frustrating eyes always on you, one mistake and they’ll talk about you as if you did something unforgivable

“Tired?” Donghae Oppa my personal butler asked me as he put a coat on my bare shoulder

“Hmmm” I replied to him as I out my head on his shoulder

“Don’t worry Ms one more interview for time magazine and then you’re done” he said as he patted my head

“Oppa it’s really tiring can I sleep on your shoulder for a bit” he smiled at me showing his approval on my request

The tiring day finally ends with a last interview

“Ms, Mr Im is calling you” Donghae Oppa said as he enters my room, I sighed and followed him

I went inside the president’s office, giving Donghae Oppa a last glance before I closed the door

“Have a seat Krystal” he said and I sat on the chair opposite to his

“You did good but please try to act more friendly and don’t act as if you’re bored, you looked pissed off on the interviews, act like you’re an Im you are my only grandchild after all” Mr Im said his voice cold as ice  

“Okay Mr Im” I said my head hung low embarrassed

“Next time don’t disappoint me that’s all you may leave” he said as he stood up and turned around I went out of office with a heavy heart, I saw Donghae Oppa smiling at me I run to him and hugged him

“Oppa why is so cold like that it’s as if he doesn’t love me, I did my best but I think its not enough I always end up disappointing him” I said tears running on my face

“It’s ok President is just tired that’s all and he wants everyone to respect you and look up to you that’s why he’s training you to perfection” he said as he gave me a bright smile, this really makes me fall for him

“So don’t sweat about the grumpy old man ok” he said as he wiped my tears away, he patted my head and leads me to my room

“Stay here ok I’ll bring your dinner here since you’re tired” he said as he tapped my forehead

I rubbed my forehead as he went out of my room, he really does have a thing on peoples forehead

I Looked around my room, beautiful soft king size bed, huge window a balcony pretty lights and a huge T.V I should be happy right but I cant be fully happy when my only family doesn’t love me

I sighed as I turned my attention to my grandfather and I’s portrait he sits like a boss while I’m behind him his eyes full of charisma and he seems to be so intelligent but he really is intelligent

Never once in my entire life I feel that he cares for my happiness he always told me to look presentable so people wont say anything negative to me, never once he told me that he loves me, never once he told me good job

I love grandpa but I think he only see me as his accessory

He trained me to be fine lady that I am now and I will continue to be like this I’ll work harder so maybe one day he’ll tell me ‘I’m proud of you Krystal’ those were the words I’m waiting for him to say to me but he never did

“Ms here’s your dinner” Donghae oppa came in pushing the cart with my dinner

“Oppa do you think I’ll be able to run the Company as successful as grandpa” I said and he smile

“Of course Ms you are the only grandchild after all” he said his eyes didn’t meet mine

“Thank you Oppa” I said as I started to eat

 

 

DONGHAE’S POV

“Are you sure there’s still no news in my real grandchild’s where about?” President said

“I’m sorry sir but there’s none” I said as I bowed

“You may go now protect and watch over Krystal ok” he said I know that even though Krystal is not his real grandchild he still cares for her

“Of course sir I’ll just tell you when we have news on the real Ms’s whereabouts” I said as I walks towards the door

“Donghae bring Krystal in Busan let her explore our hotel there” The president said and I nodded and walks out of the room

So I guess we’re off to Busan tomorrow
