Lost Years
"Han Sunhee! Jeon Sooyeon! Open the door!" Sunhee scrambled around as she tried to reach the door half-sleepily.
Sunhee reached the door and twisted the knob softly. As the door creaked slightly open, Sunhee screamed on the top of her lungs.
"What's the problem?" Sooyeon went to Sunhee, rubbing her eyes. Sunhee's jaw dropped open as she realized the mess on the living room.
"Won't you let your sisters enter?" Sunhwa, Sunhee's older sister asked as she tried to peek inside the apartment.
"Do the two of you hide something from us?" Hyosung said as she crossed her arms and glared at the younger ladies.
Sunhee and Sooyeon shook their heads in unison.
"Then, let us enter," Hyosung and Sunhwa pushed their sisters aside and entered the apartment.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Sunhwa and Hyosung screamed as they saw the mess in their sisters' apartment.
Last night was a big mess, the two were actually preparing for B.A.P's comeback and fanmeet. They've been self-decorating the boxes and wrote special letters for each member.
Hyosung picked up a white knitted scarf with Himchan embroided in it.
"What is this? Who is the Himchan biased between the two of you?" Hyosung eyed the two intently. Sunhee couldn't contain herself and pointed at Sooyeon.
Hyosung's eyes widened in shock as her sister gave an awkward grin.
"And who made this?" Sunhwa pulled out a Kekemato stuffed toy. That plushie was actually made by Sunhee and it took her a few months to complete it.
Sooyeon pointed at Sunhee.
"You like Daehyun?!" Sunhwa exclaimed. Sunhee just shyly nodded.
I guess, first love never dies. Sunhwa smiled at her sister.
"Do some explanations first," Hyosung said and the four ladies took their seats.
"So you've been busy preparing for this day because it's Daehyun's birthday?" Hyosung asked in disbelief. Sunhee nodded and looked down.
"I mean, Daehyun's a great singer, a dancer. He's also very handsome and charming, who wouldn't fall for him?" Sunhee responded.
"I feel some sort of connection between the two of us or maybe I'm just imagining things," She smiled.
Sunhwa and Hyosung's eyes met upon that statement.
Connection? Maybe some chit-chat might relive those lost years. Hyosung thought. She glanced at Sunhwa who just gave her a nod when she actually read what Hyosung was thinking about.
"So, Daehyun will be having his birthday celebration after the fanmeet.Do you want to go?" Sunhwa eyed the two younger ladies. Sunhee looked at Sooyeon and exchanged nods.
"Sure, we would love to," Sunhee beamed, she held Sooyeon's arm and skipped around the living room.
"So, you guys should prepare or you'll be late for B.A.P's fanmeet," Hyosung teased the two girls and pushed them inside the bathrooms.
"Don't worry Sunhwa and I will choose comfortable yet fashionable clothes for the two of you," Hyosung said and went through her sister's and Sunhee's closet.
"Unnie! Don't I look like some kind of kid?" Sunhee complained as she got out of her room wearing a white sleeveless blouse and light colored overalls with matching blue sneakers with heels.
"You look very pretty!" Sooyeon exclaimed. She was wearing a pink long sleeved blouse and skinny jeans with matching white ballet flats.
"Why am I the kid here?" She sulked as she saw her best friend's outfit.
"It fits you so well and besides, Daehyun likes those baby-faced girls and he even looks like a kid in their MV," Sunhwa winked as she carefully brushed the hair of her sister.
"What? You have seen the MV?" Sunhee exclaimed.
"Of course, we're from the same company you know," Sunhwa said. She carefully placed a pink and silver headband on Sunhee.
"So how many boxes are you going to bring?" Hyosung asked.
"About twelve small boxes and three medium-sized boxes," Sooyeon replied.
"Actually it's almost Sunhee's, she spent almost all of her free time to find the perfect gifts and she even took sewing lessons for that stuffed toy," Sooyeon spilled the beans.
"You've been doing this for B.A.P but not for your own sisters," Hyosung raised her eyebrows and chased Sooyeon around the house.
"Let's put the boxes in the van," Sunhwa said and helped Sunhee carry B.A.P's gifts.
Sunhee and Sooyeon were dropped off a block away from the venue. Sunhee was having a hard time carrying those boxes, especially Daehyun's boxes. After a few minutes of walking, the two arrived at the venue. Fans were patiently waiting in their lines. Sunhee and Sooyeon decided to fall in line but before they could reach the line, a man went to them.
"I'm your sisters' manager, they told me to you inside so you can sit on the front row," He said. Sunhee and Sooyeon nodded and followed the man as he led them to a secret door. Sooyeon could see the staffs busy preparing, she looked around and didn't saw B.A.P but their own sisters.
"Han Sunhee!" Sunhwa shouted as she ran towards her sister.
"Don't touch me, you dropped us off and gave us a hard time carrying these boxes," Sunhee faced away.
"Okay, go out. You don't wanna see your beloved Daehyun?" Sunhwa acted angry but it was obvious she's actually not.
"Unnie!" Sunhee whined and pouted.
"Okay, go to your seats now. The doors were about to open," Hyosung pushed the two to their seats. They were in the front row and in the center, where B.A.P could surely see them.
The lights were dimmed out and the only bright lights were on stage. Six guys went on stage with big smiles painted on their faces. Fans were cheering and that includes Sunhee and Sooyeon. The boys walked up to their table, someone caught Daehyun's eyes. A big big smile crept up on his
handsome face, his eyes glistening with every look he gave. His heart skipped a beat when he heard her shout his name.
"Hyung, that girl looks like your first love," Zelo whispered and pointed at the girl.
“I guess it is her,” Daehyun looked at the girl once again. He looked at the side and saw Sunhwa pointing at someone on the front row.
She’s wearing a pink and silver headband. Sunhwa typed in her LED banner.
“It’s really her,” Daehyun smiled widely. The fans were getting wilder as Himchan made a heart shape with his hands.
"Daehyun-ah, she's pretty," Youngjae nudged him.
"I know, she never changed. Though it's almost 7 years ago when I last saw her," He smiled and glanced at her.
The fanmeet started with B.A.P singing Coffee Shop and Rain Sound. Sunhee and Sooyeon were cheering so loudly and constantly taking pictures of them. Daehyun stole glances from Sunhee and was even caught by Sunhee’s camera. The thought of having Daehyun smiling at her made
Sunhee’s heart flutter. Sunhee actually thought, what if Daehyun was her first love? It might be impossible but who knows.
“Sunhee-ah, let’s fall in line,” Sooyeon pulled Sunhee’s hand and brought the gifts with them.
Daehyun saw her stood up and became nervous, what if he acted like a fool in front of her. Youngjae saw Daehyun and chuckled.
“Don’t worry, I know she’ll remember you,” Youngjae smiled.
Daehyun just nodded and started talking to the fans and signing their albums and other goodies. Sunhee reached Yongguk first, she gave him a small red box.
“Yongguk oppa, please accept my gift,” She smiled. Daehyun couldn’t help but get jealous. Daehyun still managed to smile.
“Thank you,” Yongguk opened it and it was a small shishimato stufftoy. Yongguk signed Sunhee’s albums.
“Zelo-ah,” Sunhee placed two blue boxes.
“Thank you noona,” He replied.
“How come you knew I’m a noona to you?” Sunhee asked. B.A.P members became alarmed.
“It was because you didn’t call me oppa,” Zelo grinned sheepily and scratched his head. Sunhee let out a chuckle. Zelo opened the box and revealed a totomato stufftoy and a masked like totomato.
“Noona, did you made this one?” He asked. Sunhee just nodded and smiled, Zelo then signed her albums.
“Youngjae oppa!” She gave him two yellow boxes.
“Thank you,” Youngjae replied. She just smiled and let him sign her albums. Youngjae’s gift was the same as the other members except for the headphones with Jokomato heads on it.
Daehyun felt nervous as the girl he first loved was here in front of him, flashing a sweet smile and her cheeks turning crimson red.
“Hello,” She smiled and looked at him. Their hearts skipped a beat as their eyes met each other.
“Daehyun oppa, please accept this,” She carefully placed the black and white boxes.
“Thank you, Sunhee,” He smiled. Sunhee was shocked as she thought she heard him say her name.
“Do you mind if I ask?” She tilted her head to the side.
“How come you know my name?” She asked. Daehyun shifted and looked at her.
“I’m of the same company as your sister,” He replied. Sunhee felt her heart shattered into pieces, that wasn’t the answer she was expecting.
“Oh,” Daehyun felt that Sunhee was disappointed due to the change in her facial expression. He felt bad for not telling her, he was actually her first love.
“Please open the boxes,” She forced a smile. Daehyun opened the box and saw the kekemato stufftoy, a kekemato pendant and a small cake with happy birthday on it.
“Happy birthday,” She smiled and let Daehyun sign her autograph. She gave her gifts and let Jongup and Himchan sign her albums before she went back to her seat, still remembering what Daehyun said.
I guess it’s not him. Sunhee thought.
“I had so much fun!” Sooyeon beamed. Sunhee wasn’t really in the mood to spazz with her best friend because the words Daehyun said was still lingering in her mind.
“Sunhee-ah!” Sunhee turned around and saw her sister.
“Wae unnie?”
“We’ll be celebrating Daehyun’s birthday, come on,” Sunhwa smiled.
“I’m not in the mood unnie, I don’t feel well,” She replied. Sunhwa touched her sister’s forehead.
“Are you sure?”
“Sunhee-ah, you wanted this since last year but what’s happening to you?” Sooyeon hugged her best friend.
“Hyosung noona!” Sunhee and Sooyeon searched for the voice and saw B.A.P.
“Himchan,” Hyosung said. Sooyeon was trying to control herself but Sunhee was just looking down.
“Oh meet our sisters, Han Sunhee and Jeon Sooyeon,” Sunhee and Sooyeon just bowed.
“Annyeonghaseyo,” They greeted.
“They were the ones at the fansign / fanmeet,” Yongguk said.
“Yeah, they are your fans. Sunhee put too much effort on your gifts but not on ours,” Sunhwa said and placed her arm on Sunhee’s shoulder.
Sunhee decided to look at Daehyun, she swore she could see Daehyun’s apologetic eyes.
“Let’s go to the restaurant, Jieun and Hana are already waiting,” Yongguk said and led his boys to their van.
“Let’s go now, Sunhee,” Sunhwa said. Sunhee just nodded and followed her sister.
“Are you alright?” Sooyeon asked as she sat beside Sunhee.
“Daehyun isn’t the guy I first loved,” Sunhee choked on her words.
“That’s okay,” Sooyeon hugged her.
Hyosung and Sunhwa overheard the conversation.
“Maybe Daehyun didn’t tell her the truth,” Hyosung whispered.
“Yeah, aiish Daehyun!” Sunhwa mumbled.
Sunhee leaned on the van’s window and looked outside. She was actually thinking if where’s her Daehyun, the Daehyun whom she fell in love with seven years ago. She suddenly smiled and remembered, that this day wasn’t about that Daehyun but B.A.P’s cheesecake maniac, Jung Daehyun.
They arrived at the restaurant. Sunhee got off the van and saw Jieun and Hana by the restaurant’s door.
“Jieun unnie!” She ran up to her and hugged her.
“Sunhee,” Jieun hugged back and pinched Sunhee’s cheeks.
“Why are you wearing that kind of clothes?” Hana pointed at her.
“Sunhwa unnie chose these not me,” Sunhee pouted.
“But still you look so pretty,” Hana smiled.
“Thanks unnie,” She smiled.
“How about me?” Sooyeon interrupted.
“You looked more like a lady than the last time I saw you,” Jieun hugged Sooyeon.
“Okay, I’m the kid here,” Sunhee sulked.
“Aigoo!” Hana messed Sunhee’s hair.
“Noonas!” Zelo came running towards them.
“Oh, Sunhee noona,” Zelo waved.
“Hello,”
“Jieun noona, is everything ready? They are keeping Daehyun away right now,”
“Yeah, everything’s ready but we need something more special,”
Sunhwa went to Jieun and whispered something.
“What if we let Sunhee sing?”
“Sunhee, are you willing to sing for Daehyun?”
Sunhee’s eyes widened in shock.
“Why me? Jieun unnie is a great singer,” She shook her head several times.
“Aigoo, Sunhee, you’ve been telling me you’ll sing in front of Daehyun if you have time,” Sooyeon chuckled.
“Won’t Daehyun be disappointed?” Sunhee tilted her head. The others shook their heads.
“Okay,” Sunhee agreed and was pushed by Jieun and Hana inside the restaurant.
“Daehyun will be so happy,” Sunhwa beamed and went with them.
Daehyun went inside the restaurant with his eyes covered with blindfold. He was assisted by s. The moment Daehyun took a step in the private room, he heard a familiar voice.

“Sunhee,” He couldn’t help but smile upon saying her name.
Secret and B.A.P members were looking at his reaction. They were secretly having a party inside their minds. Daehyun finally met the one he first loved, Han Sunhee.

Sunhee closed her eyes as she sang the song. She was happy to sing in front of her bias but it seems like Daehyun was more than that. If Daehyun of B.A.P was actually the Daehyun she loved, she will be the happiest fan ever.

Sunhee finished the song and B.A.P members removed the blindfold around Daehyun’s eyes. Sunhee brought the cake and walked towards Daehyun.
“Happy birthday,” Daehyun couldn’t help but smile upon seeing Sunhee’s face being lighted up by the candles of his cake.
“Thank you,” Daehyun replied. Sunhee’s face was turning red as Daehyun looked at her straightly in the eye.
“Thank you, Cheesecake,” He said. Sunhee was shocked and was not able to hold back her tears. Sunhwa immediately got the cake from Sunhee.
“Why didn’t you tell me?!” Sunhee hit Daehyun’s chest lightly as her tears were flowing.
“Sorry,” Daehyun kissed Sunhee’s forehead.
“YAH! YAH! YAH! You weren’t able to communicate with my sister for almost seven years and yet you kissed her forehead just like that,” Sunhwa joked.
Daehyun hugged Sunhee tightly and she hugged him back.
“I missed you,” He said.
“I missed you too, so much,” She said and buried her head on his chest.
“Come on, let’s eat now,” Himchan said. Sunhee and Daehyun just chuckled.
“I love you so so much,” Daehyun said as he hugged Sunhee.
“I love you too,”
“I guess, we don’t have to relive all those lost years because they weren’t actually lost,” Daehyun kissed the tip of her nose.
“That’s why I really felt that connection between the two of us,” Sunhee confessed.
“I heard your bias is me,” Daehyun teased.
“Of course, you got the biggest gifts right?”
“But the best gift was when you sang for me,”
“I know,”
“B.A.P’s Jung Daehyun met his first love once again,” Youngjae said as B.A.P members, Secret members and Sooyeon approached the lovers. The lovers just chuckled and hugged each other.
“When will we find our love life?” Hyosung asked Sunhwa.
“Look, Himchan’s making a move with your sister,” Sunhwa pointed at Sooyeon and Himchan who were standing beside each other.
“KIM! HIM! CHAN!”
The others just laughed at Hyosung.
