Nichkhun Horvejkul

` His childhood was empty: it had no enjoyable memories filling it up nor did it have the loving parents that supported him through every milestone. Instead, it consisted of forced studying and training so he could proudly take the title as "Delphic Resorts' heir". His older brother had run away after finding out about an arranged marriage with the heiress of another large company, leaving Nichkhun and his two younger sisters in the dust. He grew up with a semi-permanent pokerface tattooed on his face as a result of neglect as well as a fixed resolve to gain his well-deserved place in his family's company.

Song Qian - Victoria

` Having grown up in an orphanage for most of her childhood, she learned to avoid creating strong bonds with others because they always leave in the end. She transferred from Qingdao to South Korea after leaving the orphanage at age 16. From there, she started her own orphanage, taking in children of all ages under her care. She has a reputation for being strong-willed, witty, and charming, and she always puts her friends and family before herself. Throughout the story, she learns that this may not be the greatest choice to make.

Kwon Jiyong

` He is a force to be reckoned with. Not much is known about this enigmatic person, though, other than the fact that his father, Kwon Junghyun, had the title of South Korea's richest drug lord before his company collapsed under debt. It was also known that his mother died during childbirth, leaving him, her sister and his father to fend for themselves. After his company hit the rocks, Junghyun was forced to abandon his beloved children because of the loan sharks that were chasing after his family. His sister claims that he's never been the same ever since that incident.

Im Jinah - Nana

` A diamond in the rough indeed; she was known as the angelic prodigy to the public until she was kicked out of the family at the mere age of 14 after her parents divorced. She seeked refuge at her grandparents' home only to find out that they moved to America a couple years after her parents got married. Having nowhere to stay, she lived in the streets and worked odd jobs to earn enough money for food. Unfortunately, while staying overnight near a construction lot, her head was struck by a brick. Her memories were then gone and the only knowledge she had about her past was her name, her age, and the fact that she no longer had a family.
