Eric looked down at the spilled groceries and the girl's bent head, "Love? Are you serious? I'm disgusted with you." Kicking an few apples out of the way, he strided down the hall. The girl stayed still on the ground as the elevator's ping sound reverberated in her ears louder than reality. Eric stepped in the elevator & let out an exasperated sigh when the doors closed.
