Description
Based on the drama The Innocent Man / Nice Guy
Kang Maru realizes that he regrets using Seo Eungi to take revenge on Han Jaehee, and starts to have genuine feelings for her. But even if Eungi accepted Maru knowing his intentions and his past, Maru felt guilt upon his actions and decided that to protect Eungi, he must push her away. What could have happened if he admitted his feelings for her instead of lying to her to protect her?

This will be the first fanfic that I'll be posting, so I hope you enjoy it!^^
It's been almost a year since this drama aired, but I can say that I'm still not completely over it. Song Joong ki and Moon Chae won's portrayal of Kang Maru and Seo Eungi were amazing, plus they had such great chemistry <3 I hope they have another project soon~
If you haven't watched Nice Guy yet, you might not be able to fully understand the whole story. This one-shot is based specifically on a scene in episode 9, when Maru and Eungi were on the beach.
